We have only 10 locations, creating a dynamic interaction between chefs and diners.

Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar esta barra de omakase en Mérida con altas expectativas, pero lamentablemente la experiencia quedó muy por debajo de lo esperado. Pagamos más de $4,500 pesos entre dos personas por el menú de 9 tiempos, y nos sorprendió negativamente la escasa variedad de proteínas ofrecidas: no se incluyó camarón, pulpo, wagyu ni salmón, lo cual resulta difícil de justificar en un concepto que presume ser exclusivo. La explicación del chef fue que muchas personas no consumen ciertos ingredientes o son alérgicas, pero creemos que si se trata de una barra omakase de alto nivel, lo lógico sería mantener la propuesta original y ofrecer alternativas solo en casos puntuales, no modificar el menú base a ese grado. El único platillo con atún no se sentía fresco, lo cual también nos desconcertó considerando el precio y la categoría que pretende tener el lugar. Hemos probado otras barras omakase, incluso con chefs japoneses auténticos, con mayor variedad, mejor calidad de producto y a la mitad del precio. En este caso, la experiencia se sintió desbalanceada: un ambiente y servicio correctos, pero sin respaldo en la calidad de la propuesta gastronómica. Definitivamente esperábamos mucho más, quizá para alguien que no conoce el concepto le parece aceptable, pero siendo amantes de la buena comida nos sentimos profundamente decepcionados.

What a fun way to enjoy the evening! This little secret spot ignites your curiosity as you try to find it (good luck!). Our chef was so lovely, animated and passionate about the dishes he was serving us. Every dish was packed with flavor and attention. Certainly worth the price. Highly recommend for a date night or just a great night out. Our favorite dish was the Robalo Ceviche - I am still dreaming about it!
