The prime rib wasn't available when we went (the trolley was 'down' at the moment, whatever that means). The ribeye steaks we ordered were overcooked and the filet was undercooked. The lobster we ordered was not fully cooked. Bread, sides and drinks were good. Desserts were underwhelming. Beautiful restaurant. The staff and management acknowledged their shortcomings and were very apologetic. When comparing restaurants with like menus and price points, plus our experience, we will choose the tried and true steakhouses over Jay's.

The food was really good, to my surprise it was plenty to keep you full. The desserts are great , don’t skip it. The service was very good and attentive. The manager talked to us and see if we had a good time. They are attentive here which is good.

A night club trying to serve food. Good music but entirely too loud for a dining setting. Obviously catering to the young crowd, but in so doing, they’ve eliminated the middle to older crowd with the taste and funds. A beautiful setting…

From the time we walked in and received a very friendly greeting and immediately acknowledging our reservation, things were spectacular! We were a larger group for a guys night out. We were fortunate to have Paula as our server who was nothing short of amazing the whole night. We had several of their apps (don’t miss out on those duck fat fries!!) and everything was great. 6 of the 7 of us all got the prime rib. Flawless table side cuts on the trolly! The taste was magnificent. It comes with potatoes and creamed spinach. Both were very good. No nutmeg in the spinach was a bonus for me. Needed a little salt/pepper, but still great. The manager visited us more than once and he was exceptional when we needed a little assistance with the table. In short, I cannot wait to go back!

Jay's restaurant was great. Went last night for a birthday dinner. Paula our service was delightful. Everyone who came to our table was great and attentive. The steak was incredible and the sides were outstanding. The manager took us in to see the "church part" of the restaurant that is open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. It is worth the trip back to try it again in that venue. There were large parties at the restaurant was noisy with loud conversations so we had a little problem hearing each other but we will still come back. Sue S

Fabulous and delicious! We were sad to learn Holly Blue had closed. So glad to experience how Jay's brought back to life this magnificent bldg (church).
