   We were celebrating our one year anniversary. We decided to go to Jax because it is the best steakhouse in SXM. The filet was superb and our waiter, Benjamin, was fantastic.

   Jerome, our waiter, was very attentive. The filets were perfectly cooked and flavorful. The veggies and loaded potato that accompanied the filets were out of this world. Highly recommend!

   NY strip Steak was made to perfection with vegetables..Also salad and bake potato were made to perfection..Wife had seafood pasta and that was also great..when in St Maarten stop by and eat here..Also our Waiter Sava was great as we were celebrating our 36 years wedding anniversary and they gave us a small dessert with a sparkler..it was awesome and thank you Jax Steakhouse..

   Our party of 8 enjoyed our dinner at JAX. Bread was served soft and warm with butter at room temperature, ideal for spreading. The steaks were fabulous - tender and flavorful! The potato purée was absolutely delicious. And the brownie with pistachio was a perfect ending. The hostess was super-friendly with a great smile and very accommodating. Our wait team knowledgeable and efficient. Areas for improvement: we noticed one of the line cooks has a long beard and felt it should be netted (or removed), to prevent facial hair from being introduced to our food. And the restrooms are in need of a facelift. Overall a delicious meal and we will certainly return when we’re next in Sint Maarten!

    Outstanding team effort for all areas of service. Wedge salad is large enough for two. Surf and turf combines a petit filet with shrimp and choice of sauce. Short rib is more like a lean steak. Tasty brownie for dessert.

    The service was exceptional with the wait staff being very pleasant and knowledgable in the menu choices. Their lobster appitizer was second to none and we enjoyed it very much as it was our first time to experience lobster. Our steaks were prepared to perfection and the plate looked incredible. Steven, our waiter was superb along with to rest of the staff. Steven also surprised one of the ladies in my party with an amazing birthday cake and sparkler. It was certainly a memorable occasion and we highly recommend the fine establishment (Jax) whenever in Saint Maarten. Thank you making our visit and experierance memorable one.

    An amazing restaurant with top quality steak. The service was fantastic. I had the fried calamari as a starter and shared the tomahawk steak as the main. The steak was well seasoned and cooked to perfection.

    I had the best skirt steak ever. The next day we were at Dinghy Dock for lunch and two of Jax employees were there having lunch. We told them we were there the night before and how much we enjoyed it. Make sure to try the rum old fashioned on the cocktail menu. Awesome!!

    Overall everything was great the Mahi Mahi ceviche just wasn’t as good as I hoped. The Citrus used might not have been as fresh as possible and the dish lacked flavor, the citrus killed my taste buds. The Rack of Lamb and Seafood Pasta was excellent. Service was very attentive and on point. Lively place I will definitely come back the next time I am in the Country.

    Jax is always on our must visit list when visiting the island. The food is excellent, the service is outstanding, and the ambiance is steakhouse as opposed to beach bar. My wife has celiac disease and Jax is very helpful given her dietary restrictions. We both had steak. My wife had the NY strip she said was very good and it was large enough to bring some home. I had the skirt steak which was marinated and also very good. The sides and the cocktails were also good. Our service was handled by Jackie and Serge. Both were professional and personable. We had a comfortable booth and overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

    Jax is a must every time we come to SXM! I look forward to the dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives and beef carpaccio all year. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Be sure to grab espresso martinis at the outside bar after dinner!

    All food was edible and cooked perfectly except the lobster escargot appetizer which the manager refused to take off our bill! Manager needs to go! I also felt the dress code was too casual and trashy!!! For those prices you would expect a better caliber of customer. Very disappointed.

    Not the best. We ordered the surf and turf. The shrimp wasn’t cooked and tasted like charcoal lighter. Filet sliced into 3 pieces. We requested a nice table for two to celebrate our Anniversary however they sat us in the bar corner booth fits 4-6 people under a bright light not so romantic. I asked if we could sit at a two top but apparently the two tables next to us were reserved however no one ever showed up. Overall the food was sooooo salty!!! Keep things simple and don’t over season. Shrimp tastes good as it is and same with filet. The only thing good was the server. He was extremely nice.

    The best Steakhouse I have ever been too!. The ambience was amazing. The steak was properly cooked! The servers were very efficient, made sure we wanted for nothing! Our server the tall, handsome bald guy ( forgot his name) was so nice. Hostess was amazing as well. Will recommend and be back on a trip to St.Maarten just for this place.

    We had the surf and turf. The shrimp were done just right and the steak was the best I've had in a long time. I'm not usually a steak person, but this was great. I would have preferred the vegetables to be crisper, but that's minor.
