Disappointing experience. Service was slow - servers blamed it on the number of large parties stressing the kitchen. Given the location of the restaurant inside a large Hilton hotel, serving large groups should be routine. Food was neither poor nor spectacular. But for a restaurant that advertises itself as “finest foods of Mexico”, it’s an exercise in misleading advertising. More accurate slogan would be “overpriced foods of Mexico.” With only two drinks, no dessert, and a shared starter, dinner for two was nearly USD 200.

We had a wonderful experience at Javier’s. The service was too notch and the food was wonderful. We tried several top rated restaurants in Los Cabos and this was our favorite. Order the churros and helado fritto for dessert, you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful setting and classy interior. The outdoor seating was awesome with beautiful views. The menu was diverse and very nice with fair pricing. The wine list was also a great mix of wines throughout the world with very fair pricing. Here comes the downside. I believe they were understaffed for the volume they were doing that evening. The service was spotty with the timing of the courses coming to our table. We were still finishing our salad and another course came out. Server was frazzled and not too approachable. My food was very good but my wife's lobster and crab enchiladas were very good. Overall I would give them another try because it seems the fare is pretty good if you order correctly. They did bring out a dessert for our anniversary which was very thoughtful !!

This is a lovely restaurant right on the sea of Cortez. The food was very good. However the music was a bit too loud and energetic making it difficult to have normal conversation. The service was very good but a bit too quick to clear away.

Javier’s is a great place to eat but can be pricey. You can have good value with your picks. My wife and I eat a dish for two. On this wooden plate was chicken, steak and carnitas. Served with rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo and onions. Also came with corn tortillas. This a lot of food but very delicious. After finally finishing most of it, it was time for dessert. Yes, the churros bowl with vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce. Great meal

The atmosphere and the view were stunning and the wait staff was on top on their game. We shared the ahi ceviche and it was out of this world... haha fresh from the sea! We will consider staying at the Cabo Azul in the future because the property was beautiful.

My wife had the half chicken. It was very good. It was nice and moist. Enough for two meals. I had the seafood enchiladas and they were very good. My wife said the bathroom is beautiful. The entire restaurant was very clean with an excellent atmosphere. maybe just a bit pricey for what they’re serving.

It is a beautiful location right on the beach. The staff was great. The food not so much. The price were too high for the amount of food they gave you. We’ve been to Javier’s in La Jolla and Newport Beach, CA and their food was much better with larger portions. We were very disappointed.

Lots to choose from - good variety for breakfast and impressive pastry/dessert station. Really good egg white and spinach omelet I had made to order. Sushi was fresh. But honestly not worth the high dollar cost as you are going to eat mostly breakfast items. Service was ok but nothing exceptional.

Great service!!! The minute You step in the restaurant you are greeted with a friendly welcome. Our table was perfect location to watch the waves and sunset. We had Seabass and it was cooked to perfection. Wonderful night!

I was not the least bit impressed with this place! I’ve been to other Javier’s in Ca and was prepared for a moderate priced bill, however, the food didn’t justify the price. I had the cabo special which came out warm not hot. The lobster didn’t taste fresh and the stuffed bell pepper was a bit soggy. The shrimp taco was delicious, very disappointing.
