Javier´s - Los Cabos

Expected much more. Items we wanted were no longer on the menu. Thought the drink menu would be more extensive. Ambiance was horrible due to a wedding. Staff was pleasant. They don't accept cash. Wth?

Amazing dinner...wonderful way to begin our Vacation in Cabo!! Wonderful food, ambiance and and service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back!!! The pulpo ceviche was delicious!!!

We dined at Javier's the evening prior to my birthday. We booked an outdoor table. But we were seated inside as it was a bit too steamy outside when we arrived, which was fine. However, we requested to move tables shortly thereafter because of a boisterous party that sat close by. Our meal was delicious! I had the fresh catch of the day. My husband had the seafood enchiladas. Listening to the waves crash beside us as the sun went down was perfect.

Great food! Took about 15 minutes for a server to great us but was very busy due to a stoem. Lighting could be a tiny bit less dim. Would come back tho!

With the restaurant only half full, our service was hit-and-miss. We were also curious why we were not seated at a pen open window table and the hostess, when asked about a window table, said “they are reserved”. No one showed up to take the tables and we were one of the two last groups in the restaurant. Odd.

Good food, service is very slow due to not as many servers. Very expensive, margaritas are terrible.

I was traveling with my 2 sisters. My middle sister who is a professional waitress wanted to treat us to dinner. Our experience was terrible, service wise. No attention. Had to ask for everything. Very disappointing. We are staying at the resort and we were so looking forward to dining there. Traveler beware

Be seated in an architecturally interesting dining room with comfortable seating or sit on the large deck overlooking the Sea of Cortez and listen to waves kitting the shore. We had brunch which included standard options plus do much more - sushi bar, barbacoa station, paella, cheeses and breads station, many dessert choices plus beverages. Javier's is a gem in San Jose del Cabo.

It was a perfect meal for our last night @ Cabo. I wanted it to be something special and it hit the right spot.

Perfect restaurant experience for my wife and I on our anniversary. The atmosphere was very serene with a great view of the beach/ocean during sunset (no direct view of the sunset). Our waiter was extremely professional and kind and made sure my wife and I were taken care of without being too imposing on the dinner. Would recommend to friends and family.

Javier's Restaurant is lovely - but real foodies MUST try their Farm to Table menu! Diners must request this option - it's not on the regular menu. The food and service are incredible from chefs and staff who are passionate about local ingredients, creative cooking and Mexican flavors. This is a wonderful experience for a group of friends who like to share culinary experience. They took wonderful care of us bringing a complimentary house made cocktail and the timing of the food was perfect! We especially enjoyed the grilled octopus so tender it was almost like lobster and served with the perfect of accompaniment of velvety black beans and sharp salsa, the homemade chimichurri olive oil and breads, and the beautiful salad all straight from their garden with grilled avocado and the lightest creamy touch of dressing, we also had tender charred steak with cactus and chorizo and an unexpectedly great prune tart that was like a warm buttery cookie. Everything was fresh, beautiful and clearly cooked with love.

We had a wonderful time and the staff was fanotas tic!

We enjoyed dinner here to celebrate birthdays. Service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. Beautiful setting out on the beach at night.

The drinks were watered down and the food does not even begin to compare to Javier’s in the States. It was very disappointing as Javier’s is our favorite Mexican restaurant and we live in Houston, Tx where Mexican restaurants are on every corner.

If you want mediocre, freezer bag fajitas, and margaritas the same quality as the all inclusive resorts, Javier’s Los Cabos is the place to go!

This was Valentine’s Day and the food, service,and entertainment was great.

Love our service/server enjoyed everything about our experience !!! Being from Newport Beach, CA, we’ve been to their Newport Coast location many, many time always a happy choice, but the Cab Azul was awesome.!!!!

We stayed in azul and have gone to Javier twice since we arrived.

Travelling with parents as well as kids and enjoyed all of the restaurant.

Standard of food is good, ambient is great
Great scene and is kids friendly, service is constantly good. We feel the warmth of people and sun.

I have been to the Javier's locations in Vegas and Orange County and the locations and ambience are always stunning. The food is pricey for TexMex but consistent. Their salsas are always top notch. Although the Cabo Azul resort is stunning as is the Javier's location and setting the service was terrible. Our waiter spoke no English and was dazed and confused throughout the entire meal. We finally complained and the manager came through with some comped wine and free churros which eased the experience. Given that most of the pool and restaurant staff at Cabo Azul were very proficient in English we were surprised at our waiters comprehension. He must have been someone's brother-in-law. Also as in other reviews the wine list is severely lacking in choices other than Mexican wines. Bring your own.

Views are awesome, to match the food. A great variety with Mexican fish dishes that are unique.

Restaurant is beautiful situated in the resort near the beach . Food delicious so good we’re. Going back again next week on the last night of our vacation .
Many good choices on menu and dessert menu was varied as well

Always look forward to dining here. The views are amazing, the service is outstanding and d the food is beyond delicious.

Incredible dinner for our last night in Cabo!

YUM!!!!!! One of the most delicious meals I have ever had. Gorgeous view of the ocean and amazing service and food!!!

They add 18% gratuity for party of 2 then expect more. I hate someone telling me how grateful I am. Will never return here.

Service was wonderful. Food was delicious. However -- BIG however, the lighting was so non -existent we needed flashlights to read the menu. Really! I can tell you how the food tasted, but not what colors were on my plate -- because it was so dark in the room. And we couldn't take advantage of the situation to view the ocean because there was a party (with lanterns) going on just outside the windows of the restaurant.
