Went here with a party of 8 to celebrate my 40th. The inside is gorgeous, really beautiful and sexy. The service was great. Food came out fast and tasted excellent. Location is next to everything fun in downtown LA. I will surely come again. This place did not disappoint.

Top notch, attentive servers. Manager came by to check on the table and introduced me to the group sales person. The food arrived to our table quickly and was very tasty.

We loved the food and service except a small thing that should have been taken care of but wasn’t: we ordered two espressos after lunch, the first set were cold and we sent them back, the second set were basically tiny cups of coffee for $7 each. We let the servers know that it was not espresso and we were unhappy and we would not order again. We didn’t ask to have removed from the bill but it should have been nevertheless. Despite the complaint and spending more than $200 on lunch, the servers did not remove the charge as a courtesy, instead saying it was “above their pay grade.” A little disappointing end to an otherwise great lunch.

The atmosphere is amazing and the playlist is so good. Our server, Robert was exceptional. He checked on in, recommended must-have dishes and drinks. We enjoyed our meal.

I was Disappointed. We had 8pm reservations and didn’t get seated till 8:40. Music was way too loud and off theme. Maybe some Mexican or even Spanish music would have been nice but it was SUPER LOUD race music and it honestly killed the beautiful vibe of the restaurant. Service was nice, but nothing special , but that might have been because they were constantly juggling table and several times we had to move and get up so that they could move large chairs past us. It wasn’t a table made for our large group. Since Gratuity is included on party’s over 6, I expected to have a large table and better service. Our Bill was over $850 for 7 people, it wasn’t worth the experience.

Overall a great experience! The food and service was great. Music could be lowered a little. It was hard to talk with people at the table.. Overall I received commend Javier’s DTLA.
