As a native latina, I had really high expectations for the food and i was completely shook. the good was amazing, one of my friends said and i quote “it reminds me of home”. it is worth every dollar. definitely will be back.
We never got our appetizers, food was a little bland. Waiter's where very nice.
Great time for my birthday celebration.
Good food! Good drinks!
Food was not very flavorful. Kind of gimmicky with no real substance. About what you’d expect eating in a mall is like
Javier’s never disappoints! It’s a drop dead gorgeous restaurant. The food is so good, and the service is wonderful.
Incredible every time I dine there! The food and service is top tier!
I read other reviews and was sad I did NOT have a great experience. Horrible service, mediocre food and overly priced. There is no privacy, it’s lout and forced gratuity for parties of 5 or more. Our server, Nancy was forgetful and had attitude. We got better service from the busser and floor manager to get us drinks or other items. She wasn’t friendly and didn’t recommend any dishes. She was more concerned about ending her shift and closing her bill. She didn’t recommend any plates and then went and complained about our table to another waiter and thought we didn’t hear her.
The Mole Poblano I ordered was dry chicken with a scoop size of rice. Their is nothing welcoming about this place, it seems like there is nothing special about this place. Their ambiance is dull and their decor is boring…online presents it so different than the actual place.
Spoke to manager Luis he apologized and asked to give this place another chance and said Nancy was one of his best servers. Ummm not to party of 7 today.
I was so disappointed. Sadly it’s a one time place for me.
Great experience, like being in Cabo in a 4 star resort!
Dirty martini was not dirty, fajitas overpriced for, ok, fajitas?! 50 bucks? 22 bucks for a vodka with olives? Not sure what drink I got. The three girls, all found ways to laugh. Though
My mom came to visit me
Great service. I was running a few minutes late and was still accommodated quickly. Food was delicious
Very good place with excellent food..service
Favourites like enchilada, empanadas, and ceviche are executed impeccably.
Javier's mole sauce in particular is dark and smooth, with a slow burning spice at the end.
We're big fans, and will be back again soon!
Always have such a good time! Great food and drinks! Love the vibe !
I’m never in my life going back to this restaurant, Horrible experience waitress was extremely disrespectful and so judge mental over my group of family members thinking that we were intoxicated when we weren’t intoxicated I’m never ever going to return to this restaurant ever again very disappointing
Excellent. You can never go wrong with their food and drinks. Great place.
A little too loud, had a hard time hearing the people at my table. But overall, the service was excellent. Very attentive, and kept my glass of water full. The food was served hot and tasty.
Over priced for the value received. The service was very good!
This was our first time at Javier's, and we want to go more often! The crab and shrimp enchiladas were delicious. Service was excellent. Suggest early reservations because by the time we departed on Sunday afternoon, the place was completely full. High ceilings and good circulation made being inside feel very safe.
Had a great bday but had to remind the service it was a bday dinner 🤦🏽♀️
They were flexible with scheduling and the ambiance was fun and energetic
Javiers is one of my favorites. I always enjoy the food and service here.
Great service and amazing food! Ceviche was wonderful. La Tablita heavenly. Dessert & drinks fire!
Super noisy. More like a club than a restaurant.
Food prices are high, food quality, mediocre. Authentic dishes served in unauthentic ways. If you want good Mexican, stick to your local spots; nothing special here.
The service inside the restaurant was great, but the hostesses were extremely spacey and not very polite or efficient.
Enjoy the food and margaritas!
Our fave dining experience!
Amazing service, food was delicious.
I would recommend this restaurant!
Great food!! Enchiladas suiza beef crispy tacos were delicious. So many restaurants have dropped the ball during covid. Not Javiers. Will definitely come back!!
Lava pina colodas with spiced rum highly recommended.
Waiter was patient and attentive.
It was a fun, delicious way to spend an afternoon with my daughters!
I had to ask for the server to come to us 2x to order another drink
Delicious food and drinks! Great customer service and friendly staff
Love coming here! Food and ambiance are always fabulous
Delicious food and excellent customer service
My first time here and I loved it. The entire experience was worth it. It was pretty crowded but in a good way. Everyone was out enjoying themselves. The music was good and our waiter was pretty awesome. The food was absolutely delicious, We had the trio enchilada with shrimp, crab, and lobster, so good. We also ordered the short ribs, they were so tender. The drinks were OK but we will definitely be back soon!!
Been to Javier’s several times prior to this but this is my first review of this renowned restaurant. Started the meal out with a bottle of champagne before proceeding to cocktails. I had a guayaba margarita, my wife had an espresso martini, and our guests had Javier’s margaritas. The drinks set the right tone for the appetizers. To start, we had a trio ceviche platter (ahi tuna, octopus, and scallops). Afterward we had our main entrees - all delicious and satisfying. Overall, Javier’s not only offers a great bar selection, wonderful meals, but a very trendy atmosphere. You see businesspeople, tourists, and aspiring social media influencers. This is far from your typical LA Mexican restaurant; it’s a worthwhile experience.
Everything was good. Service was great. The billing was messed up. The waiter took cash towards the bill as his tip instead of deducting it from bill. We didn't realize until after the fact. He got a $100 tip off a $353 bill.
Our waiter was phenomenal, food and drinks always on point.
Celebrated birthday with friends enjoyed food and drinks. Good vibes. Service was great thank you to Victor.
