Best experience ever loved my birthday dinner and how they accommodated allllll of us ! Appreciate it will be back !
Definitely a place to go if you are ever in the area! I loved Javiers. The ambience is absolutely beautiful. The food was great! Drinks were amazing. Great place!
Pricey for lunch if you get a cocktail it will be over $50 per person, however the food, service and ambience are excellent.
The food is great but way overpriced
Service and food could not have been better! Our table was tucked away in the back corner of the resto where the second bar is located (who knew?). Will definitely be back again and again and rave about Javier's to friends and work colleagues.
I had the scallops the presentation was great. The Scallops were not cooked all the way through. the Scallops could have been cooked more.
Food was good quality but the taste was just ok. Folks were nice and the restaurant was beautiful.
Service and food were amazing! Restaurant was beautiful but the music level was a bit loud. Difficult to hold conversations when your competing with speakers! Side note, valet parking closes at 10pm ! Complete disadvantage when chasing to find someone for your car
Always delicious and the waiters are happy and helpful.
Great ambient. Good for birthdays, catching up with friends, dates or just chilling before or after a movie or shopping.
We had dinner there for my husbands birthday, I did mention that when I made the reservation. Our server was terrible, once he found out that we were not going to order any alcohol he stomped off and did not come back after we put in our dinner order. We got our food and it was tasteless no salt and my Husbands Short Ribs had no meat just fat. I searched for our server for 30 mins and finally, another server took pity on us and asked if we needed anything. I just asked for the check because I wanted to run away and never return. So disappointing and I am embarrassed with how my husbands Birthday dinner turned out.
This was my first time going to this location. The other locations are good looking but this one is very beautiful and the food was delicious. Impeccable service as well :)
Not traditional Mexican fare one might be used to in Los Angeles, which is why the prices are a bit high--more compliated ingredients. However, I ordered a simple salad and the lettuce was not dried properly so it was watery. Not acceptable at all.
Everything was excellent the server was over beyond my expectation would recommend to anyone loved it
They had placed our baby stroller by the elevator where anyone could take it. Also it was cover in fallen leaves. They didn’t even care, They informed us that they did not have room for it. Even though their party room was empty. This was very disrespectful, to treat people’s property this way since we were not allowed to take it inside the table area with us. Not baby friendly at all!
It was great! Love the vibes
Everything was great from the food to the service!
Always wonderful! Great food and great service!
This place is really good. Hopefully, it stays this way for a while. The staff is friendly and efficient the food is delicious but slightly pricey.
Overall experience is awesome. A definite must-try.
Took over an hour to get food and then received the wrong order.
Great food , but the noise level was almost unbearable. Could not hear the waiter without getting very close.
Javier's is a beautiful restaurant with wonderful food and service! We enjoyed our experience from start to finish!
Tasteless food and pathetic service
The Century City rendition of Javiers is nowhere near the quality experience of the Newport Coast restaurant
Too bad expansion has not been better managed
The food was excellent. The margaritas tasted like straight lime juice. It was a Thursday night but they seemed so busy that we felt somewhat like a bother
Everything was exceptional; naturally there had to be one table celebrating something and never considers that possibly the entire restaurant does not care to listen to their squeals. The restaurant is not quiet but the noise level is definitely acceptable to be able to experience an enjoyable meal except when individuals think they are cute or sexy or something and cackle/scream in an octave and volume that is disruptive to all diners. Very unfortunate but I doubt if there's anything that can be done except muzzle them. Oh well......
Loved the ambiance, Sunday was a good time to go not crowded. Early dinner 6:30
I have always loved Javier’s, but what I didn’t love this time around was that we were addressed by the waiter for not leaving a 20% tip. When we approached the manager, he said they allow their servers to bring it up to the clientele if the tip is not the suggested amount. The server didn’t do anything in my opinion to earn a 20% tip. We ordered our food, he watched them bring it out, and he brought us our check. Include it in the bill if you require a certain amount. It goes without saying that I will no longer be recommending this restaurant to any of my friends.
I have been to the Javier's in Newport Beach several times and the food has always been great. We were not impressed with the food at Javier's in Century City. Most of the entrees came out cold and others were tasteless. And, the coffee was lukewarm.
Came for our my son’s birthday dinner. Horrible service. Horrible food. Way overpriced.
Food and drinks were amazing and service was amazing !
Went here twice...the first time was A+ cocktails (old fashioned) and food. However, 2 days later I returned and had a different experience. The cocktail was poorly made...I can tell they shook the old fashioned in ice and strained it which not how an old fashioned is made....and the food was not prepared at the same level.
From a 4.5 star experience to a 2.5-3...and the prices demand 4.5-5 star experience
Had a great time..good service and great food..I’ll definitely come back here again
Sadly, we had guests from out of town and I encouraged them to park in the mall--Javier's does not validate parking at all. That's a real shame.
You go for the ambiance but this is not true Mexican food. Food has no flavor. This is for white people or non-Mexicans.
Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Tasty food. Add some good friends or loved ones and you have a wonderful place to enjoy a meal together.
Our experience at the restaurant was wonderful. Service, food, drinks, superb. Would recommend.
We loved our visit and our service was great but it was just so expensive for Mexican food. The food was really good, but not great and although the vibe was super and we are glad we went, not sure we would return for that expensive of an evening. Portions were small, prices were very high for what we got.
Atmosphere is lovely but food is not worth the price
Very bad service
Always a great experience dining at Javier's. the civeche's are amazing.
Service is first class and if you love Tequila, there's no place better.
My first not great review on OT. The food was just OK, but that experience is overcome by the fact Javier's is way, way overpriced. Must be the high Westfield rent, but Javier's is not worth it as there are too many Mexican options on the Westside alone with better food at less than half the price. Surprisingly, with what appeared to be a sizeable staff, the service was marginal. And, while its resort-like decor is beautiful, it is simply too loud, period, even for a Mexican restaurant. Not sure this place will make it over the near future.
