Everything was great but the prices were way too high! $30 for 2 crab enchiladas????
Great food, mediocre below average service and value
Grossly overpriced Mexican food.
Server had attitude and she was rude
My best friend and I celebrated our birthdays.
I have eaten here multiple times as friends want to try it but I really don’t enjoy it. Service is good and ambiance is good but my food is barely warm. This time I even asked for it to be hot and it still came barely warm. I mean hardly warm at all. They don’t have a microwave apparently to warm up the food so they have to remake (waste of food and time) and by the time it comes out again, my friends are done. This has happened at least 5 times and I am losing interest in eating here again.
Great experience, love the food and great service.
It was a good night at Javier's. This was my first time but not my wife's. We were celebrating her birthday. She really enjoyed herself. I liked the ambiance. The only problem with our night was that we had a large party celebrating and they were very loud. Other than that the food was really good and the service was good also.
Always love having dinner at Javier's when I am in town visiting. The food is excellent - always an enjoyable time!
The food was amazing, interior, and the customer service. I recommend this place 100% for a Mexican gourmet lunch or dinner.
Overpriced food. Not particularly memorable. Waiter was very good. Staff was taking down Christmas tree and they squeezed between tables and disrupted our meal
Just a fun place with really good food and service and great drinks.
The restaurant is beautiful, the drinks are great, the food is good & the service is very good.
The food is delicious! Each dish is beautifully served..
I later a very detailed review on yelp due to a very poor experience with a manager named Graciela. She needs to switch to the fast food business. She was very rude and unprofessional.
The place was beautiful. Staff very attentive and food was delicious
I had a reservation for a special occasion (anniversary) and still had to wait for a table instead of a nice cozy both. That is my only complaint. Very nice atmosphere, food was delicious, drinks were strong, service was great and nice music as well.
This was our third year at Javier's for New Year's Eve. It just gets better and better! Great crowd and phenomenal food.
Amazing everything. But my husband ordered the steak and shrimp and when the bill came it was $75!!!! Is that even correct? I can’t find prices on the menu online.
Horrible treatment from the hostess. She was rude and even yelled at us on the way out, the point where her volume and tone was so outrageous, other customers turned and looked at her
HORRIBLY overpriced, especially for lunch, by a factor of two, with mediocre food. Save your money and go to Taco Bell 20 times for the price of this meal.
Food is overpriced, and service is poor. Ran out of regular Arroz for part of our party, then tried to pass of white steamed rice as substitute without any explanation.
Ambiance, drinks and service was great. The parking horrible but it was probably because of the holidays. Also the food wasnt as good as I've been told. Definitely will go back to try the ceviche.
I was not impressed with the Americanized Mexican food that I was served.
It was a great birthday celebration I’ll be coming back for more!!!
Completely different experience than previous times. Horrible drinks from the bar. Food was stale, poorly prepared, and sloppy. Guacamole felt like it came out of a can. Unfortunate that the experience once craved has been poorly managed. Will not return to this location.
Been here many times, and of late, the trend has been disappointing. Hosts seem overwhelmed, are considerably off on quoting wait times, and not accommodating. Wait staff continues to be great, but food is suffering in quality (as portions get smaller, prices go up, and food consistently comes out luke-warm at best).
But, if the weather is cold, the restaurant can be extremely cold. We were seated in an area in the back, close to the bar in the back of the restaurant and it was FREEZING! Fortunately, we all had jackets and sweaters on so we were able to make it through dinner. However, we were definitely cold. The restaurant needs to add more heaters in order to make many of the areas in the restaurant tolerable. I spoke with one of the managers of the restaurant about the cold. He was very polite but clearly not interested in dealing with the problem.
By far the best Mexican-themed restaurant in Los Angeles!
Wait staff excellent and food delicious! The small details need attention like Turing the napkin the right way when placing a cocktail. Front desk staff has a ‘I don’t care if you’re here’ attitude. They need to be much more warm, friendly, attentive and welcoming. A high end brand should deliver top notch customer care and service to round out the overall dining experience.
Service does not come close to how good the Las Vegas location is. Waitress didn’t really talk to us and only did the bare minimum. Your Vegas location is outstanding and every experience there is a memorable one.
Always fun and food is delicious!
I get it, this place is about an experience but why would I pay for mediocre over priced food with horrible service when I can go to Don Antonio’s or El Compadre.
Too noisy. Food is good and ambiance interesting, but the music is too loud. I noted that, but some call loud music energetic. I call it distracting and annoying.
Luv everything about it.
Overpriced, loud, uncomfortable, and rude service. All I could think from the moment we left is how we could have eaten at Del Frisco’s — or even Mastro’s — at the same cost and had a meal that was 10 times better with service that was 100 times better.
$300 PLUS a *mandatory* 20% tip. $360 for 4 adults (one drink each) and two kids? Absurd. I’m so upset with myself for not just getting up and leaving. An absolutely horrible experience.
It’s like running into your hot ex. Yes the place is gorgeous, but everything else is a hot, hot mess.
Stay away. Stay far, far away.
It was simply exquisite on so many levels!
Celebrating my daughters 21st Birthday! My guest absolutely loved the food, and ambience. The server was very attentive as well!
I always liked Javier. Been there many times except this the place was so noisy I can’t hear what my friends or the server was saying. I got a headache from yelling and shouting. I think I am going to give Javier a rest for the time being.
It was our first time there and it will definitely not be our last! Food was excellent and the vibe was amazing!
