Celebrating two April birthdays and had a wonderful time!
Our waitress was outstanding. We had a party of 11 and she took good care of all of us. The food was excellent. We come here as often as we can. Highly recommend.
Jasper's outdid themselves last night. everything was on point: food, service, price, and ambiance all five star. Let's start with the food: steaks cooked exactly as ordered, the onion rings were above par, the creamy potato salad was excellent, and the bread pudding to die for. I have never had bread pudding so I wasn't sure what I was getting into. Chef Ruben's version of bread pudding made me a believer. The service was exemplary. Our server outdid herself and we felt cared for and pampered throughout the night. Jasper's casual atmosphere paired with its uptown food gives the restaurant a classy backyard feel. Prices were more than fair. Our only complaint is that the room was smoky and our allergies were not happy, but that won't keep us from going back. Congratulations to Chef Ruben and his staff for a memorable experience. My friends and I will absolutely be back.
Great as usual.
Excellent drinks food and service
Anthony was very helpful in suggesting items from the menu along with their wine pairings. He was very kind and has a great personality.
Our waitress Sherry was great very attentive
Blue cheese chips and calamari were excellent. Wedge was very good. Masa soup was very good.
Fries were limp. Mac and cheese was just OK. Warm potato salad was excellent. Ribs were not as good as they used to be. Needed to use the sauce.
Creme brule was a disappointment. Cheese cake was excellent. Bread pudding and crisp were very good.
This was my first time at Jasper’s and it did not disappoint. We had mixed drinks, appetizers and a variety of entrees. Go with the chef selection for the salmon and lamb, you won’t be disappointed.
We were nicely greeted and seated within minutes.
Yummy calamari began our meal. The sauce with a little hint of spice was a nice balance with the perfectly cooked calamari.
We each ordered the evening special; fresh grilled Red fish over linguini with asparagus, spinach, tomatoes with a butter blanc sauce. Seriously melted in our mouths.
Shout out to our engaging, sweet server, Sheri!! Thank you for taking care of us and making us laugh!
Only suggestion is to add some chocolate to your dessert menu!!
Lovely Easter dinner, very attentive waitstaff and amazing food despite being a holiday.
Excellent , friendly service!
Food was not hot and not very good.
Too cold. Set menu with no heads up
Attending for Easter brunch. Food was OUTSTANDING! Service and atmosphere were good. Experienced 2 issues, received water glasses that were still dirty, had lipstick stains on 2 of the 4 glasses delivered but server quickly fixed. Second issue was kitchen prep, received side of Mac & cheese almost 20 mins before main course which caused the side item to be cold. Also took a while to receive dessert course (ordered from special brunch selection) and when it came the ice cream was already melted in 2 of the 3 dishes and one of the cheesecakes came without pink topping
We went to Jasper’s for Easter brunch. We definitely enjoyed our time, but they did have a set menu. Being that I’m gluten-free, they had a 3 course meal without a GF option for the 3rd course. Even though it was a set menu, I feel like they could have done something to accommodate. Otherwise, my favorite time to go to Jasper’s is for happy hour and sit out on the patio.
Food did not meet expectations. Limited brunch menu which means food should be spectacular but it wasn’t. Egg Benedict lacked flavor. It was bland. Presentation of food seems uncreative. Three small prawn and two asparagus spears would be worth it if it tasted well but unfortunately for an “upscale” restaurant you might be better off going to a local diner. A two course Easter brunch took a total of 3 hours. It does not take three hours to make empanadas, spring mix side salad, and a main entree. If you have a set menu and reservation you can’t possibly be unprepared. This has been a waste of my money and time. Not one single manager came by for a table touch. I didn’t even eat any of my meal. The only decent thing I consume was the chocolate waffle.
IT WAS WONDERFUL! WE WENT THERE FOR A "PRE-EASTER" DINNER AND HAD A GREAT TIME. THE BONE IN RIBEYE WAS AMAZING! I WOULD GO BACK IN A HEARTBEAT.
Easter brunch. Excellent trout. Back bean risotto was special. Scallops were good.
Atmosphere was good but the food and drinks were costly and nothing out of the ordinary. Not bad at all but nothing to write about. Service was good but not spectacular.
Overall good but looking for more at the price point they are at.
Robert was the best waiter we’ve had in YEARS. Literally.
Incredible ambiance and experience!
Always great food and service!!!
My wife and really like this place for special occasions, but this time the menu changed and it was more bbq dishes than usual... only 1 fish entree and it didn’t appeal to either one of us. I hope they add more seafood entrees again.
Excellent service and support. Enjoyed the ambiance.
Awesome food and service from Lindsey.
good food and the staff is very nice and honest ,I did forgot my wallet on the table and kindly returned to me the next day ,I was so great full , thank you very much all Jasper team
Disappointing... had been for happy hour and enjoyed the experience but dinner was not as fulfilling. The old fashioned was premixed and watered down and entre was overpriced for what it was.
It was a wonderful, quiet, Sunday morning meal. Our waitress was wonderful! Service was exceptional. The food was very good. We enjoyed it thoroughly and definitely plan to return and explore more of the menu!
Great food and service. They don't rush you. Relatively quiet space so you can have a conversation.
We were celebrating my parents 43rd wedding anniversary! Our waitress I am trying to remember her name but she was the sweetest lady and had excellent service from her. I want to say it was Charlene or chelsey. We were in a big booth in the corner.
Had a great dinner tonight. Food was delicious. Oysters, green salad, ribs, and prime rib. Service was impeccable. Well done. Thank you.
Jaspers was our favorite restaurant in The Woodlands but over the past year the menu has changed and overall the ambiance isn't quite as sophisticated as it used to be. The restaurant has limited options for healthy eating. The seafood is okay but nothing special; more Applebee's than TrueLuks.
Service was outstanding and food was delicious... and restaurant had a nice atmosphere
Excellent brunch - Sherry was wonderful and took care of us. Patio seating with the breeze provided the perfect ambiance.
Had a great anniversary dinner
First time at Jasper's. It was my husband's birthday so when the reservation was made, I made note of that but ... no one at the restaurant acknowledged it. Service was good and the food came out really fast. However, I would recommend ordering one course at a time or you won't get a break! The food was good but not great. For appetizers we had the oysters (average) and the pork empanadas (very good). Also had Jasper's salad (average) and the bread board (very good). We had the short ribs which were very tender and tasty ... just needed a little more whiskey gravy. For desert, we had the apple bread pudding and it was delicious. We will go back and look forward to trying something different.
Fun night with friends. Food has not disappointed since Jaspers opened.
Prime rib with baked potato was excellent. Maytag blue cheese chips are our favorite. Bread pudding shared by two, perfect ending to a wonderful date night dinner. Jasper's never misses.
Great food! Sharon H was a great server and took awesome care of us.
