Food and service were outstanding. Little pricey, but worth it. Only problem was the table was a little off center and tended to tip a little, but that's very minor.
We were very disappointed with our visit to Jaspers.
We’ve visited this restaurant many times over the years, and we’re sad to say that it has gone from being a great restaurant, to one that is average at best. Sadly. This was reflective in the food which was bland, lacked creativity, and grossly overpriced.
As mentioned, this wasn’t our first visit to Jaspers, but will likely be our last.
I think the menu is not varied enough. Too many upscale items and not enough middle of the road type meals.
Our out-of-town family enjoyed everything about the evening. Mike was a delight and just attentive enough to make us feel appreciated!
The menu is exceptional. The food is equally worthy of that praise and I found the price to be surprising moderate however the particular waitress’ tactics were both alarming and deceptive.
My occasion was a business dinner For 6. We had reservations for 6:30pm on a Wednesday.
We arrived early and sat in the bar. The waitress working the bar was both efficient and friendly. When we moved to our table, that waitress seemed a little scattered and missed a few minor things that should have been attended to however we were in deep discussions and few of us even noticed.
The waitress continued to fulfill our bar drinks and I ordered appetizers for all, then entrees and then I ordered 4 side dishes. The waitress suggested a 5th so I said sure. When the side dishes were brought to the table there were 7 different dishes.
She then went around to each person and politely interrupted conversations while asking “did you want a ceasar’s salad or a wedge salad?
I, like others, assumed that this salad was was part of the menu offering, but when the bill came I found out that the salads were $8each which is OK, but it was presented in a manipulative and opportunistic way.
Twice during her service my customer turned to me and said “I didn’t order that drink, did you order this for me?”
When dessert time came all declined except me who requested a dessert to Go to take back home to my son. When the bill came there were two desserts on the tab.
In addition there were 3 iced teas added to the tab and only one iced tea was ordered.
All in all there was a total of $72dollars on the bill that we never ordered and in some cases never obtained.
Very disappointing and bothered by the manipulative nature of her intent.
This was the best place I could have picked for my 1st anniversary celebrating with my wife. Molly the waitress made it memorable and enjoyable. Will definitely be back
We went for Easter brunch, and although I'm not usually a prix fixe menu fan there was something to please everyone. Our server, Lucas, was a gem!
Jaspers Easter Brunch. Food was good but experience was subpar. I wish Jaspers had either made it known on opentable or when checking in that there was a prefix menu. We were very disappointed that we could not order a brunch entree and were forced to order 3 courses from a set menu. We were also not the only ones who were put off, complaints were heard all around the restaurant. We would have left but had already ordered a drink.
Easter Sunday brunch.... Aside from too many items with red peppers and other spicy peppers, the food was tasty and hot.
Menu switched out at Easter had everyone confused; we ordered lunch from one side of the menu (which was customized for the day) but then were told that side wasn't available. The room temp was a bit cold but having a vent aimed at our table made it so we went to the car and got coats. When we asked to turn the vent it took about 25 minutes....disappointing.
Food was good but choices were fairly poor
Hoping to enjoy Easter brunch, but they only offered half the menu. No breakfast items available even though breakfast was on the menu we were given. The server said Jasper’s put it there for future reference. Seriously? Then they burned, I mean absolutely torched, my steak. Great environment, service was ok, but food quality and value were sadly at odds.
We were unhappy with our table. We were eventually moved but still. 3 top to a booth while others sat even 2 at a table by the window. We were basically the first to arrive!!
Have been going to Jasper's for many years, and my husband has had many business dinners there. I go mainly for one thing, their prime rib. At 7:30 they were sold out! What! I would have gone somewhere else if I had only known! So many other great restaurants in the area to be disappointed at this one just hurts.
Service, food and setting were excellent. Really enjoyed our server.
Decent food. Great service.
The hamburger I had was almost raw asked for medium well
Great meal. I want to give it a 4.5 stars but I can’t get the system to take a half star. No complaints. As always excellently executed meal.
Food was excellent! It was our first time there and it won't be the last. Our waiter took great care of us and gave us some really good recommendations. Ill have to come back on a Thursday to try out the tomahawk pork chop. Pork belly was really good, hope they put it on the menu!
Service was excellent. We had an issue with an undisclosed food ingredient on menu item we ordered which caused a bit of concern due to date’s food allergy- Staff and management were very concerned. Management not only comped the meal he also called to see how my date was doing !!! Very professionally handled!!!
We will be back:)
William our waiter was second to none! Complete knowledge of the entire menu including cocktails.
Salmon and/or Calamari was spoiled or undercooked - was thrown up within two hours after eating... not a pleasant experience AND permanently damaged a pair of women's suede knee boots. Other food choices where under-whelming. Waiter was great but kitchen was SLOW... dessert took way too long but was comp'd. Unlikely we will be back.
Horrible. Menu selection very limited service was less than average steaks were poor quality fatty, seasoning did not compliment cold not even cooked. Potatoes were not genuine
Food was very tasty and Mike did a nice job serving us. Maybe a dash pricy, but reasonable given the generous portions!
Everything was great! Out server Viviana was amazing! The food was a real pleasure to eat! I recommend this location! The short rib roast with the mac n cheesee were amazing!!!
Good was delicious, as always! Heaters allowed us too dine outside! Great staff!
Great food, FANTASTIC service. Everyone in this place seems genuinely concerned that everything is going right at your table. Different employees stopped by during our meal to make sure everything was to our satisfaction (but not to the point of annoyance). A special shout out to our sever Viviana, best service ever.
Overall, good experience but nothing special. Server seemed to forgot some of our orders and tried to take our plates away while we are still working, but he was nice overall.
My husband and I dine at Jasper’s fairly regularly as it is a favorite for casual weekday lunch or dinner “dates” and for a nice weekend night out with friends. Tonight’s dinner did not disappoint. The rotisserie prime rib is a must try, but honestly, so is everything else on the menu.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great service!!!
One of my favorite places...everything from eclectic to comfort food!
Service always good here. We had lunch, it was good, not great. I expected more because their prices are not cheap. Seems they changed their lunch menu and it’s doesn’t have the variety it once did. Nice place for a business lunch.
Always good. Came for the ahi and it wasn’t on the menu. A little disappointed
Great place to be and great service
Menu is too narrow. Steaks are overpriced. Better off going to Al Biernat's or Flemings for a steak. Tried to take comfort food to a new level and failed.
Theresa was fabulous and took really good care of us
The trout was amazing
Theresa was amazing. Food was also delicious. Great experience overall.
wood fired pork tenderloin is arguably the best meal in the DFW area! I get it everytime.
Excellent service and delicious food. Noise level is pretty acceptable, you can talk and everybody hears you. The round table was perfect for eight guests.
Jaspers is always a treat for us. We came in for lunch before a movie and had a great meal before it got busy. The drinks were well prepared and reasonably priced. Calamari was one of the best we’ve had. I loved the trout and empanadas. The only minor disappointment was a pedestrian wedge salad. Josh at the valet was also great
Nice meal with fresh and well prepared ingredients.
