It was our anniversary and the food and service were great so no expense was too much but for the value it was a little pricey. Our server Michael gets an "A"
It was a little pricy but the food was really good and worth the price! We are gonna come back!
Sat at a table near the door and heard road noise every time the door opened when there were many empty tables.
We have been to Jasper's 3 times. It has been very consistent. The service has always been excellent. All the dishes have been well prepared. We have had several of the seafood dishes, and all have been properly done. The desserts are also very good. Worth the visit.
Great experience, per usual!!
Great restaurant with innovative menu from Chef Rathburn, great choice for couples looking to actually here their own conversations :-)
Very limited menu. A place more suited for lunch than dinner.
Jaclynn Green is amazing! My close friends and I wanted to surprise our wives with a ladies night out. Jaclynn was extremely accommodating. We gave us a tour of the restaurant and advice for the surprise. She customized the menus with personal messages we created for our wives. She went above and beyond when my wife had a shoe malfunction, Jaclynn, got tape and glue to take care of it. Anything we needed, she was more than willing to accommodate. She is the main reason we decided to do the surprise dinner there. I would recommend working with her if you want to setup anything at Jasper’s. Due to all of her assistance the night went amazing and my wife will never forget the amazing experience. Thank you to Jasper’s and most importantly Jaclynn Green, you were phenomenal!
Our visit was for brunch. Other than a minor delay due to a late arriving manager, everything was great. The portions were large. We had omelettes, the steak and eggs, and the chicken and waffles and all of them were outstanding. You really feel like you are getting food from a chef. I've been before and I enjoyed their wine selection and entrees at dinner.
Had wanted to try Jasper's for a while and finally did on a Thursday evening with friends. Service was excellent, good table seating and bar. We ordered several appetizers, a bottle of red wine and entre's. Food came in an appropriate time. Appitizers were very good but the entre's we disappointing. Everything was presented very well, good temperature, good quality and quantity, but there was little flavor to the Entre's.
I would go back, but was a bit disappointed.
First visit for brunch was disappointing, it was really a lunch menu with one omelette choice and chicken and waffles.
Staff was nice and friendly. It was not crowded and the noise level was low. It's in an affluent area and you should expect to see some higher prices for items, except their dessert, which is very reasonable. Defiantly worth saving some room room after dinner
Jaspers was all I was led to believe and then some! We all had different dishes and each of us raved about ours. My salmon was moist and flavorful. My husband’s prime rib was cooked perfectly and also was tender and delicious. My cousin said her chicken was moist and very good. The staff was so pleasant and friendly! If I was ever in this area again I would definitely go back.
Good as always. Food great, wait staff great. Look forward to next visit.
Hands-down, our favorite restaurant in DFW. We just went there for our 20th, and the staff were amazing to a person. Top meu tips: Blue Cheese Potato Chips are indulgent and incredible. Either the pork or angus tenderloin are among the best-thing-you'll-ever-put-in-your-mouth. And deserts are off-the-charts great. It's hard to go wrong at Jaspers.
Shops of Legacy is feeling the pressure from the new kid on the block, Legacy West. Jasper’s is trying to stay the course, but the neighborhood is slipping a little. The streets are too dark at night. The brick sidewalks are becoming a safety hazard.
My daughter and her friends reserved a table for homecoming. They were treated respectfully and had a great experience.
Been many times this time was just alright the menu needs a refresher
We celebrated my daughters birthday and we were impressed with food quality and great customer service from the waitress to the restaurant manager!
Been to Jasper’s several times. This time the service was average. Disappointed but still recommend this pricey restaurant for a nice atmospheric meal with alcoholic beverages. The management was very helpful when I advised of the disappointing service this last time there. Really appreciated their concern.
Hadn’t been to jaspers for over a year. Food, atmosphere were great. Will be going back again
This was very disappointing. I ordered the parmasean crusted trout and the server assured me it was not fries but pan seared
When it arrives it was pan fried with bread crumbs all over and no parmasean to be found. Before that I ordered this dish which came with power greens as a side dish only to be told 15 min after ordering they are out. The whipped potatoes i ordered to substitute came to the table dry, lacking cream, butter, and salt. I them ordered the Beef tenderloin medium rare. It arrived over cooked and without proper care of seasoning. My husband took me here as a treat as I have been stuck on bed rest. He was so dissapointed with what we received as was I.
We went here for my daughters 21st birthday for lunch and everything was great. I had the prime rib sandwich which was outstanding. We were treated well and the manager stopped by to wish my daughter happy birthday. We had the dessert trio and it was all great. Service was great too. I left there so full and in desperate need of a "food nap" . Will definitely return to try something for dinner soon.
Enjoyed the food and the location. Great place to have dinner with friends.
When I made my dinner reservation I noted it was to celebrate my girlfriend bday. No one in the entire restaurant acknowledge the special occasion until i asked for a candle!!! Why note that in the reservation if there isn't gonna being special acknowledgment.
Great food and service - the bar is outstanding (fresh ingredients vs. mixers)
Company in from out of town. Great service and everyone’s meal was first rate. I’m a beef eater but one of the rare times where none of the 6 at our table irdered beef. Alternate selection was excellent and delicious.
Food and service was very good along with the valet taking care of us in the rain.
We have loved Jasper’s for years! It doesn’t seem to be as fine dining as previous visits. It’s gone far more casual.
Fantastic as always! Turn the lights down just a bit for a little more romantic setting but otherwise.... very nice.
We celebrated my daughters birthday and it was perfect. She had a great time and it was upscale enough for her to be dressed up for her birthday and casual enough for her to have a fun while dining. The bar was a little loud (the cowboys preseason game was being aired) which was great since we brought our 4yr old son and he rarely uses inside voices. Everyone there was very accommodating, the food was fantastic, the service was good. The wine selection wasn’t what they had on their website so we were a little disappointed when we couldn’t order the bottle we wanted. Overall we had a great dining experience and would definitely return for any occasion even for a date night.
I would not use open table to represent your restaurant as they messed up the reservation this is not the first time
Have your customers go directly through you so we the customer is not upset unpone arriving.
Your place made it happen
Great food and drinks.Really loved the Nue vodka cocktails and the delicious filet mignon!
We came to support restaurant week. WONDERFUL dinner. Never disappoints
Nice menu during restaurant week. Can't beat the fall off the bone pork ribs. Great prime rib.
Our service was excellent. The crab cake appetizer was delicious and the best part of the meal. My prime rib was tasty but I ordered medium rare and what I got was medium. Too well done. Our desserts were ok - nothing special. My husband and I went for restaurant week. Maybe there are better things on the regular menu. Overall we were disappointed.
Had the ribs - uninspiring; wife had the prime rib she liked it but not memorable
Even though we had booked our reservation as a Wedding Anniversary, No mention was made to us of that during our dinner. The food was mediocre, at best. Was it because of the restaurant week menu? I was so disappointed. :-( Probably won't return. The restaurant was too noisy for a special evening.
Lettuce drowning in salad dressing prime rib served well done ...not medium as ordered. Won't be on my to do again list anytime soon!
Jaspers at Shops of Legacy is my favorite restaurant in DFW. The Tortilla Soup is superb. I had tenderloin and 3 scallops grilled to perfection. My husband loves their salmon. Of course, I had to have their corn. OMG. You must have the banana pudding with bourbon. Service is excellent and ambience is outstanding.
