Head Chef Scott Simmers has experience with both Southwest and Island flavors, so he pulls inspiration from those experiences to create many of our dishes. Fresh fish or meat, tropical flavors, and a little bit of spice are common in his creations like the popular Braised Short Ribs and Pan Seared Red Snapper.
Our very own herb garden on our second floor balcony provides fresh handpicked herbs for our kitchen and bar. We emphasize fresh fruit and herb infusion in our handcrafted specialty cocktails, and offer local craft beer and spirits along with an exceptional wine list.

Great setting -- indoor/outdoor/upstairs/free standing party room or small bar -- for a fairly small location, it has lots of ambiance options. Great service!
Our waitress was fantastic. She was very well aware of the menu and great tips. The food was super fresh, delicious and flavorful
Food and service were excellent. The snapper is a must-try.
I love Jasper’s Backyard! The menu is right to the point and sweet, and everything myself or anyone I’ve dined with has been delicious and flavorful! We love the ambience, the pours, and the kind and memorable servers - like Kevin! We will definitely be back again 😁😁😁
Great place, parking is easy, staff is okay; they are knowledgeable, but not very pleasant. Food and ambiance is good.
We had a great lunch! Our server was excellent! He was attentive but nor overbearing! Food was great!
Amazing food & service!
We were very disappointed with our food. No flavor, small portions for the price. The music was also to loud and the singer was not very good which made it worse.
We really enjoyed the food. Our waitress was upbeat and engaging. The dining area was very loud when we arrived. We were pleased that it quieted down a lot towards the end of our meal.
Service and management is unlike any other in town. I flew in from Washington state for some of their crab fries. They work hard to make you and your guests satisfied so you can enjoy your meal and time without noticing that you even need another drink or fork.
The salads and entrees were excellent. We tried one of their shot glass desserts and were disappointed Our server was on her first day on the job and was professional. The noise level was probably the highest we have experienced in any dining situation. We liked the food well enough to go back and be seated outside to avoid the noise in the main room and not order dessert
Great spot to meet for casual dinner; panko chicken and tofu dishes were very good.
Nice little oasis in middle of Conshy. Great server (Ashley) and lovely atmosphere
Nice selection on the menu very nice service and wait staff Easy valet parking
Found on opentable and this is our third time there. The food and management continues to impress us each time!
Really a shame as I want to like this restaurant and have been there 4-5 times. Every time has been inconsistent. Service is slow, Kitchen gets the orders wrong too often food is average at best, space is fantastic.
Good restaurant. Very nice place to eat food. Big fan of here. Would enjoy doing here again. Very place.
Good food. Good service. Good atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.
Atmosphere was great. Service was poor. Food was okay. Waitress did not know her stuff
Great experience. Look forward to next visit
Was our first time really enjoyed the service and food was great .. looking forward to coming back and dining outside to enjoy the outside deck ...
Nice outdoor atmosphere. Lovely staff, great service. Food is average and priced above what it should be for taste. Will go back to sit outside but scale back on food purchases.
We went to Jasper's for the first time, for my wife's birthday. We really enjoyed it. The food was great and the indoor and outdoor environments were a great mix of spaces. The location in Conshie is a block off Fayette Street, so you're a little removed from the main drag of restaurants and bars, but I see this as a plus. They also have a "hidden" kids menu.
The food and service cannot be beat at Jasper's. Have been there several times and never had a bad experience. The staff goes out of their way to provide exceptional service.
Came for the first time and I will say I will only come back for drinks and possible apps. My boyfriend asked for a wine and ultimately was poured a “tasting”, which I found for $9 should have been a bit more than an inch in the glass. The food did look better presented than the taste, but always a second chance is needed so I look to coming back and see how things have evolved.
Disappointment is an understatement!!! The live music and setting make up for the bad food. My first time was ok good crab avocado salad but the service was bad. 2nd and 3rd time we had great service but the food was a disaster: worst Cobb salad ever - I kept picking out bad lettuce and had to send it back. Both times, the crab fries and other fries were terrible - I don’t think they change their oil regularly. Fries were brown, not crunchy, tiny pieces, you end up with fried crumbs instead of long ones. The chicken sandwich was soggy and flavorless (bun & chicken) - gross!! The Holy Guacamole (crab guacamole) is the worst I ever had!! Tiny portion for $18 and you basically have huge chunks of tasteless hard crab sitting on top of guacamole with huge chunks of peppers, no lime and no cilantro!! The chef came out to apologize and he was almost arguing with us. Our waitress did everything she could to save our dinner but at that point we were done.
Oh, how bad can be iced tea?? Well ... bad!!!
The entrées are overpriced for the quality and portions served!!
Great outdoor space. Food was good . Our waiter was great with the kids.
Had a great time having brunch at Jaspers! Their outdoor area is the perfect spot for a meal or drink this summer! I highly recommend.
Kayla was great
Wow!!! We've been wanting to go for quite some time and finally got there on Friday night. Loved everything about it! What a cool place, the food was amazing, and our server, Ashley, took great care of us. Can't wait to go back!
Like being able to sit outside. Its the ambiance that keeps me coming back. A bit pricey for what you get. Had south west chicken salad- chicken was dry.
Very solid spot. Really enjoyed the live music and ambiance. Our entrees were very tasty, and our app was good - just slow to come out. Would return!
Loved everything. Server took awhile for everything, but just figured he was super busy.
It’s my favorite place !
My husband and I came here for the first time and we loved it. We sat on the patio and though it was a little loud, it was manageable as we could still carry on a conversation. The food was very good and service was great - very timely and provided recommendations for our meal. They were very attentive and stopped by our table several times. The atmosphere was very relaxing and they have lights out back. Also a bar inside and a bar outside. Overall a great experience and we would go again!
With this place being a neighborhood bar right in our back yard we were disappointed with our third visit after having two wonderful prior visits. We reserved outdoor seating and were seated inside without being told ahead of time. A quick message through the app would have made the experience much better as we would have dressed more appropriately. The waitress didn’t smile once. The beer took so long to come and we ordered fries and the dish wasn’t even filled the whole way. They were $7 for fries so we assumed we would get a decent amount... nope. On a positive note they had live music being played over the speaker system which was fantastic.
Overall it was a nice night out with my fiance for dinner, it was our first time visiting this restaurant. The food was very good, I had a ribeye steak and my fiance had braised short ribs which were fantastic. However they tries to sit us at a really bad high top table near the entrance only because our third part couldn't make it, so we asked to be moved and they sent us upstairs instead, I felt like I was sitting at a bar instead. It is an extremely loud restaurant and was very hard to hear each other talk. Our waitress was not very pleasant at all and not very attentive. She didn't even come to pick up the check before we left. So although the food was good, the over all experience only warranted a 3 star rating.
My wife and I had a great 1st dinner at Jaspers. I say 1st because we intend to come back many times and try all the different seating areas. Food was excellent and staff courteous.
Sat outside in the sun, it was wonderful... The patio is a lovely, relaxed setting. Feels like I'm on vacation. Also both our waitress and food were wonderful. My Mom had wings and sweet potato fries which she loved. I had the Cobb Salad with chicken. Delicious. Thank you!! We will be back!
