   Sadly- Jardin Secreto is no longer “secreto” The food was marginal and the ambience is mo longer the lovely ambiance it once was- I never minded paying for a lovely experience that does not exist any longer. Commercialized and completely different than it once as.

   Ambiance and music were amazing. Beautiful restaurant. Unfortunately the service was very lacking. My husband ordered a pork chop that came out cold and rare- barely cooked. Our waitress never returned so he actually took it up to the bar to return it. There was a live band who were really great but it was so loud you couldn’t speak to anyone at your table.

   This was our third time to Jardin Secreto. The first two times were great, so we brought out-of-town friends to dinner to celebrate one of their birthdays. The evening was disappointment after disappointment. The service was extremely slow - getting our first drink order to the table took an hour. The meals came out randomly and again very, very slow. To top it all off, we had brought in a special order Birthday cake for our friend, and after asking why it was taking so long, we were told the chef served it to another table. They offered us the grocery store cake the other patron brought in. Unimaginable. Needless to say, we will not be back. It is too bad as Jardin Secreto was one of our favourite restaurants.

    Our experience at Jardin Secreto was incredible! From the bartenders who curated delicious cocktails, to the beautiful cheese board, to the lamb chops cooked in a wood fire oven. The food was insane! Additionally the live music added the unique and fun touch we were looking for with our dining experience. We will be back and highly recommend!!

    We had the best pizza, service and a most enjoyable evening. The beet salad was also delicious, and the beautiful garden feel inside and the modern decor was lovely.

    Horrible experience. We had a reservation at 7 PM. We arrived early and waited 40 minutes for our table. The food came an hour later. The pizzas were good, but everything else was cold. Service was slow. Overall this was NOT a good experience and we won’t return.

    What a beautiful restaurant. Our server who was from Chile originally was delightful. The curry yellowtail (catch of the day) was terrific. The bar is well stocked with interesting Mezcal and Tequila choices and cocktails too

    Nice find in SJD. Nice atmosphere, excellent service. Food was good, not exceptional, but no complaints. My husband said the tiramisu was the best he’s ever had. SJD is a nice change from the chaos of CSL.

    Terrific evening on a Thursday evening of Art Walk. Sat upstairs and service, food and drinks were great and we could hear the really wonderful jazz band playing on main floor.

    There were 6 things sold out off the main course. Pizza would take an hour if ordered (we weren’t in any hurry) and it took 45 minutes to get our check after kindly asking for it. I wasn’t impressed with the place at all.

    Buena experiencia, solo un detalle con una ayudante de mesero que insistía en llevarse mi comida aun cuando me veía comiendo como que tenia prisa. fuera de eso todo bien la forma de recibir y atención de nuestra mesera principal fue muy buena.

    Excelente comida ,el servicio de la mesera Carolina no estuvo al pendiente tuve q pedir agua tres veces,le pedí una copa de vino y también tuve q preguntar por mi vino y al final de la cuenta le dije q dejaría el 10% de propina y me comentó q sería solo para restaurante y q no le tocaría nada ella y finalmente le di 15% pero no quede satisfecho.

    We made a reservation based off the pictures of the ambiance and cocktails, but as soon as I took the first sip of my bacon old fashioned, I realized this was a typical tourist trap. We decided to order some appetizers and chose muscles and oysters. The muscles were mediocre at best, served Luke warm with dry slices of white bread, they were tolerable and at a price of $20USD wasn’t worth fussing over. The oysters were an utter nightmare, 5 or 6 oysters served with a random concoction of ingredients such as blue cheese, barbecue sauce, strawberry jam, jalapeños and some other. Oh and I was up charged for ordering a cocktail that was not on the menu or premade. On the upside, the restaurant’s ambiance was great, it’s literally the only saving grace for this place. I would recommend Sage for cocktails and La Lupita for food.

    I had been looking forward to trying this place. Sadly it was a big disappointment. The food came out an hour after ordering. Cold and over-cooked. And it is not a Mediterranean menu. I don’t think it knows what it is. Secret Garden or Dance Club. The music was deafening.

    The live music was WAY too loud and we waited too long for our food which was ordinary. And my steak was hard as a rock - beyond overcooked. They tried to make up for our experience by giving is complimentary champagne, but neither of us drink champagne. But, I appreciated the gesture. Staff was kind. Bathroom (one stall only) was always being used by staff. Wait time for the restroom was far too long.

    The idea of a Secret Garden is great.. with a “secret” entrance. Food was very good but overpriced. Music was way too loud if you have any intention of conversing with your dinner party. After a problem with our initial server (we were invisible) the manager took over and provided excellent, professional service. We thanked her numerous times for making our visit very pleasant.

    Family dinner in San Jose Del Cabo. The service was great and the bartenders are a show within themselves. The live music was great and it was not too loud. We will definitely come back

    Live band was too loud, could not talk to each other or the servers, may as well have been to a rock concert, kids running & screaming all over the place. they sat us where everyone walked past. We left after a few minutes, when we were leaving more kids were coming in.

But if you didnt like the place we sat you, probably asking your waiter to change places could have being a good idea. We are a family friendly and pet friendly too, so there might have been some kidz around. We will review this directly with our manager. We apologize you didnt have a good experience with us.
