This is a fun place - and overall a good experience. Two top table is tiny so if you order a few maki and nigiri plates, expect it to crowd quickly. For the volume - extremely loud bistro level noise, was difficult to have a conversation across the table, but this is due to all the hard surfaces and higher level of music volume. The music selection was a tad juvenile for my taste, maybe some classic Son, Salsa, etc thrown into the mix would have been good to break up the Pop. Bathrooms were a bit messy, as were the surroundings at seating, but it was also very busy so it’s understandable. Service was very good, Lucy did an exceptional job of staying on top of everything and made solid recommendations and tempered our expectations on how many things to try so as not to overdo it. Food was quite good, but there are certainly many places operating on the same level of sushi quality - so other than the exotic combinations it’s hard to put them on the top. Madrid Moon however was a standout exception on the flavor profile out of the several we tried. Nigiri was clean and enjoyable. Signature cocktails were decent but I felt they tended towards the sweet side - the Manhattan is a good example of this. Overall a good experience and we would return knowing what to expect is probably helpful going in, but I didn’t want to color the experience by poring over reviews.

Service was slow and food quality was OK. It seemed like the restaurant seated more people than they had staff. I prefer the Seattle location. This location was too loud, too slow (service) and the food was not noteworthy.

Probably our favorite sushi restaurant on the East Side. The food quality is only exceeded by the quality of the staff. We have eaten there numerous times, and the servers have always proven to be extremely well trained: They're attentive, responsive, and friendly without being overbearing.

Some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. The chicken karaage was perfect and tender, the tuna melts in your mouth, the drinks are fun and inspired. Literally everything we ate was perfect! I'll be recommending it to everyone I know!

Had a late lunch Friday, had a reservation and we were seated immediately. Service was prompt but patient as we did a lot of chatting. Rolls were great, Tres Diablos had a nice kick, and a sashimi combo was fresh tasting. Pricing seemed reasonable, overall a very nice lunch.

I've been here several times in the past years, but the last two times I've found it a bit underwhelming. Food was good, but atmosphere was a not. Music was Incredibly loud so much that my friend and I could barely hear each other. This was the second time in which there was a very antiseptic smell in the restaurant. Quite unpleasant. The carpet and furniture could do with a definite refresh. Service was fine.. Food was good with nice presentations. We especially like the seafood spicy ramen. I always want to love this restaurant, but will not be returning.

Food was good, but service ruined the experience. Went for my brother’s 30th birthday since this is his favorite place. He spent 1.5 hours to get here and not even a happy birthday note or mention. The least you could have done is let us be in a more quieter spot since. I also had to remind the waitress of our drinks a couple times - never asked if we wanted a refill. Disappointing to celebrate a special occasion here.
