   This was our first time in Miami, and Japon was highly recommended by the hotel staff at the W Marriott. The food was amazing, staff was very friendly and the cocktails were on point!

   The waitress delivered an ashtray to a table next to us (inside) for a couple to smoke cigarettes right next to us as we were trying to enjoy our delicious food. We couldn’t believe how tacky. We told our waiter we were going to have to leave and rather than rectify the situation he brought us our check. When we try to speak to a manager, he said I’ve been made aware of the situation and walked away from us and never came back. So we left we have dined at the other restaurants in this hotel numerous times and always had a pleasant experience. However, we canceled our reservation to return and eat at the hotel tonight. We just felt the way the situation was handled was terrible… Had the waiter or the manager come back to tell us they were going to resolve it and apologize we would’ve felt better. We don’t mind paying for a wonderful meal and experience… Would you mind when all of a sudden it feels like we are in a McDonald’s atmosphere with cigarette smoke in our face while we are eating. Very disappointing.

   The food was 7/10 and the drinks were very creative, pretty strong, and tasty. The food is kind of pricey, but you’re really paying for dinner and a show (and you’re in Miami). The ambience is top tier, the staff (not just the server) are all attentive and accommodating, the performers are extremely talented, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Because of this, I understand the prices and would also recommend. The miso cod was our favorite!

   Rude people at the rest entrance. Very much loud. Food wasn’t great overall.

   Food was very good but not exceptional. It was a mix of amazing fatty tuna and an average salmon teriyaki (the small amount of rice was smothered in the sauce).

    Creative and tasty food, amazing table service, good entertainment. Unfortunately, the valet service changed some car settings (seats, Apple CarPlay and speed limit), which is unacceptable behavior. By the way, changing the speed limit created a dangerous hazard.
