EXPERIENCE TEPPANYAKI
Japan Inn was established in 1990 when founders opened their first location in Plantation, FL. Since then we have been serving an extended variety of Japanese and Thai food including fresh sushi. We had the honor to be named Best Sushi Restaurant in Plantation by Hometown Herald readers.

In 2002 a second location was opened in Weston, FL, and soon enough it was voted Best Japanese Restaurant by “Best of Weston”.

Our third location was opened in Doral, FL during the summer of 2019, and we plan to keep growing to share our food and entertainment with our customers all over South Florida. The Japan Inn Group also owns Kimura Japanese Steak & Seafood located in Boynton Beach, FL.

Overall I have gone to Japan Inn several times, and it usually doesn’t disappoint, except for this time. I requested a regular table and they wanted to sit me in a hibachi table. The food was not as good as usual, the mushrooms in the soup taste as if they just threw them in there before servicing, the vegetables weren’t really cooked, the rice was hard. The server forgot my husband’s beer which wasn’t a big deal but a little annoying. Overall, I was very disappointed with the food.

Both our server and chef were excellent. They were both very friendly and we all had a great time. The food was also amazing. We have had the same server in the past and he has always treated my family like we were his own.

We had a good experience with the food and the chef. We found the service to be just OK. We had to ask for refills on our drinks, had to ask for to-go boxes, and ask for the check. It felt like we lost the server after we placed out order. We also found the bathrooms to be pretty gross. The mop bucket was in the dining room and right in our line of site. Overall, its fun to go here once a year, but with the other issues it would not be a place I would return to more often.

Always a great experience. Food was delicious. Bar tender is so nice and hospitable she makes delicious drinks!

The prices are way up and the portions are so small. My son got the steak which was cut into 5 pieces and small as can be. The steak was paper thin and the veggies were served last and dried out. The rice was barely cooked and the cook was sloppy and fast. We will not be going back there again. For the price of the meals we can go to a nice sit down dinner. I am super disappointed by the portions and prices. We used to go there all the time but will not be returning
