Jan’s on the Beach is White Rock's newest seafood restaurant - fully renovated - with a new ocean view deck at a great location "on the strip".

We offer a "Seafood and more" menu inspired by the multicultural flavours of the Vancouver area, along with a full appetizer menu. All our dishes are made to order from scratch with fresh local ingredients.

We offer daily specials, and on occasion we'll put on wine pairing dinners for you to enjoy.

We also are open for Breakfast and Lunch, and have a Beach Favourites Menu with dishes such as "Fish Bites & Fries" and a tasty Calamari bowl.

Top it off with homemade desserts such as White Chocolate and Blueberry Creme Brule, or Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta with Grand Marnier Strawberries.

We enjoyed our food but went specifically for breakfast as the website stated they have breakfast, lunch and dinner. But we were told that breakfast is only on the weekends. Their menu should be edited to reflect that. Perhaps under the title “Breakfast Menu” it could read “Served Saturday & Sunday” and state the hours of service”. It was disappointing to have our hearts set to enjoy the “Eggs Benedict” and find out we needed to order lunch.

Very good food, view and atmosphere. Will return again. Ordered Cioppino seafood bowl and prawn moqueca, both were very tasty. Had seared scallops to start, romesco was delicious and scallops were big and cooked perfectly.

Spent a beautiful sunny day having lunch with our son at Jan’s On the Beach. It was lovely sitting on the patio - the view, yummy food and service. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich, our son had the Buddha burger and I had the warm beet salad (the best I’ve had and the goat cheese was so delicious). The three of us thoroughly enjoyed each of our meals and had a wonderful experience. We have plans to enjoy the breakfast there, next.

Perfect seafood restaurant for Celiacs, gluten-free, and regular eaters alike! The calamari is to die for—truly amazing. All the food was great; fast and friendly service. I’ll be back!

Yes, they were busy but it took over an hour between our order and when we were served. My baked potato was cold and hard (undercooked) which implies the order was rushed. The ribs were also cold and far too much sauce. A very disapointing experience.

It’s so nice to have a dedicated gluten free facility for fish and chips! My husband has celiac disease and it’s hard to eat out anywhere without him feeling like a burden

One of the safest restaurants for someone with Celiac Disease. Waitress was very friendly and knowledgable about food allergies
