   This year for my birthday, I decided to do something different and treat myself to a solo dinner. The experience was rather peculiar, to say the least. Upon entering the restaurant, I felt several eyes turn my way, as if dining alone was somehow unusual. While the restaurant's ambiance was pleasant, the discomfort of feeling watched diminished the overall atmosphere. The food was mediocre, nothing particularly memorable or exceptional compared to other places I've visited. The service was similarly average. I had to wait quite a while before servers noticed I was ready to order or needed assistance. The most disappointing aspect was the relatively high price compared to the overall experience received. It's unlikely I'll return anytime soon.

   Our experience having dinner at Janken was absolutely incredible! Our server, Courtney nailed it! We told her what we liked and let her surprise us. EVERYTHING was perfect!! Highly recommend!!! Thank you, we’ll be back for sure!!

   Amazing menu selections all an adventure for your taste buds. We ordered sticky ribs,garlic mussels, scallops ,wagu gyoza ,creme Brule and sorbet.WOW! Excellent service and appreciated dishes being served one at a time. Digital menu easy to manipulate.Thank you for making this birthday special

   Good food overall with some hits and misses within the menu. For the price, it would be nice if they didn’t police to the minute the total duration of the reservation and kindly kick a large table out right after starting to eat dessert.

   Unfortunately, our first visit to Janken was underwhelming. I had a business dinner with a client, and while we expected a high-end experience, the noise level in the restaurant was quite high—something to note, even if it’s not easily changeable. However, it was the food that fell short. We went with the recommended steak tartare, which I personally didn’t enjoy. The protein lacked flavor, and the toast was overly soaked in butter, making for a disappointing combination. For the main course, I ordered the halibut dish, which came with fried leeks. Shockingly, I almost swallowed two large fish bones that were hidden in the leeks. This was clearly an oversight in the kitchen and could have ended badly. The scallop dish, on the other hand, was well-prepared, but the halibut incident overshadowed the few positives from our meal. We finished with the Dubai chocolate dessert, which was sweet but lacked the refined presentation we expected. On the upside, we weren’t charged for the halibut and were offered a complimentary dessert as an apology. Overall, Janken did not deliver on its promise. With such great potential, we hope to see improvements in both accuracy and execution in the future

    From the hostess, to our server Sofia we're friendly, courteous and engaging. The food were delicious and very appealing; however, took a long time to arrive.
