    Wow! Had heard a lot about Janet’s and booked a lunchtime slot. The food is absolutely delicious. Each dish is freshly made to order and as the lively young waiter told us ‘comes as soon as it’s cooked. I had the famous smashed cucumber starter that didn’t disappoint. Crispy chicken, volcano rice and a beef noodle dish were also ordered by us and every dish was fabulous. A real treat and a definite return on the cards. Janet herself came and asked if we had enjoyed our food and what a lovely person she is. Well done to you and your staff - you’re doing an amazing job

    The food and accompanying wine was excellent. The staff was rather young and thus lacked a bit of service experience. Slightly reserved, but in a kind way. Booked for 5 but was offered a table for 4, however after only a bit of insisting got a larger table. Serving water in plastic bottles could be improved. On the other hand, the served wine was nice and well tempered. Overall we experienced a fine evening meal with delicious, beautiful presented food in a pleasant environment. Thank you Janet and staff.

    A member if our party has an allergy and Janet personally came to explain what she could adjust to suit. Also made sure dishes were served on table to ID what she could and couldn't have. Very professional and thorough. Food is amazing, could not fault 1 dish - and we had a few! Can't wait to return.

    Myself and partner went to dinner at Janet’s. The food was lovely and the service was both attentive and friendly. We will certainly be back! Cannot recommend the braised tofu anymore - it was delicious.

    Food was outstanding- our first visit but we’ll be going back. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
