    We've been wanting to try Janet's ever since it moved, and at last got around to it, and we were certainly not disappointed. The decor and ambiance are welcoming and serene, and the staff are attentive and helpful. As for the food - Outstanding. As a starter I recommend the smashed cucumber salad, and maybe the duck spring rolls; and for a main, try the sweet & sour crispy pork; it is very different from a "take-away" version and delicious. Or if you're feeling adventurous try the Doenjang Jjigae,, which my Asian friend assured me was delicious and authentic. And even the steamed rice was a surprise in that it was coloured pinky-purple, and tasted delicious. We shall definitely visit again.

    Beautiful restaurant, food is always first class, whatever yiu choose from the menu and staff very friendly. We are so lucky to have Janets, such a quality restaurant in Pontypridd

    Outstanding food and service. Only issue was we were sat right next to the kitchen and with it being a very hot day outside it was a little uncomfortable as it was very hot inside. That aside we will be back and hopefully we will be placed away from the kitchen area. Service was also very good.

    Heard lots of good reports about Janet's and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, a good selection of starters and mains. Only criticism was there were no desserts offered, maybe this is something that could be introduced, even if it is only UK classic desserts. Staff were very young and took a while to get the bill, but they were super friendly. Loved the ambience, and especially on a boiling hot night the open front style where the windows/doors slide right across was brilliant it felt very cosmopolitan.

    Amazing food as always!!!!! Service a bit slow and lacked the 'extra mile' to make us feel super welcome. Lovely ambience with the windows wide open :)

    Wow! Had heard a lot about Janet’s and booked a lunchtime slot. The food is absolutely delicious. Each dish is freshly made to order and as the lively young waiter told us ‘comes as soon as it’s cooked. I had the famous smashed cucumber starter that didn’t disappoint. Crispy chicken, volcano rice and a beef noodle dish were also ordered by us and every dish was fabulous. A real treat and a definite return on the cards. Janet herself came and asked if we had enjoyed our food and what a lovely person she is. Well done to you and your staff - you’re doing an amazing job
