Here at JAMROCK, our philosophy is good food, good friends and good times - and that starts with the best traditional Caribbean cuisine in Leeds and a mix of traditional and contemporary cocktails and beer. Helmed by Jamaica-born Oral Blackford and inspired by his upbringing in Ocho Rios with his grandparents, we aim to bring the food his family loved to West Yorkshire. Perfect for any occasion - Welcome to JAMROCK.
Our menu is crammed full of Caribbean favourites: Jerk Chicken, Ackee & Saltfish, Curried Goat, and much more - we've also got Vegan and Vegetarian options made from the freshest locally sourced produce.
Using traditional methods passed down through generations, our chefs bring traditional Caribbean classics to life in our Leeds city centre kitchen. Grab an ice-cold house cocktail, or a classic Red Stripe from the bar, before having a boogie on the dance floor. Ask your bartender about our house specials; The Blue Mountain, Rum Punch, and Rum on the Beach!

    Excellent, tasty and fabulous food 😋. Staff and owner all lovely and very attentive, we couldn't have asked for any more ☺️. An AWESOME meal, thank you all.

    Wonderful. From being greeted at the door and escorted to our table. The first drinks were served rapidly and our food order taken. The food was perfect , tasty , hot and we'll presented. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The music was excellent.

    Wonderful venue! Food home cooked and delicious , wide range of drinks such as cocktails, rum , prosecco , red stripe amongst others. Staff are really helpful , our order was delayed and it was rectified to a really excellent level. There is a DJ and a really lively atmosphere. Will most definately return when next in Leeds. Highly recommended!

    Looking a past reviews we were expecting the service to be a bit on the slow side but to be honest there was no complaints at all, great service, food was gorgeous and the atmosphere was top notch, will most definitely be back again

    Arrived on time for booking. Waited 10 minutes to be seated. Once seated waited 15 minutes for the waiter to take the drinks order. Ordered food but was told dumplings were off the menu. Portion size for one of us was very small. The cocktails were watered down. The food overall was good but the service was very poor. Would not go again.

    The food was tasty and I enjoyed the DJ but the service was poor. We had to wait around for 15 minutes for your table and then another 10 to be asked for a drink. The food arrived in a strange order so my friend was eating before the rest of our meals arrived. We also received forks but had to ask twice to have knives. The chicken was tasty and I loved the dumplings but the service let it down. I probably wouldn’t return.

    We had a lovely time, music was on point, loved the spices on the food and tasted great. Waiter kept our drinks flowing and entertained. Vibes was good all round and will defo be back again.
