   The food was excellent. We were staying at the hotel for the weekend and were originally planning to eat at Jamisons View one night only but the food was so good we decided to eat there on the second night as well. The pianist playing in the bar gave the restaurant a beautiful ambience.

   Jamiesons View Restaurant is a delightful venue with window tables available if you are first in or if you are lucky enough to get a vacant table. Food is fine dining and each plate is delicious, no matter what you choose. Wait staff are cheerful and enthusiastic. On Sunday night, there seemed to be a problem in the kitchen as the meals were very slow to come out. At one stage, no-one had their main, then they all came out at once. The complimentary soup and bread rolls with French butter came to the table quickly, then a long pause till the entree and same with the mains. That was the only negative, otherwise exceptional. The dessert and coffees also came out quickly. We will go back on a weekday, next time. It is still highly recommended for the variety and taste of the meals.

   We had such a great time at this restaurant! The staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food was delicious, and the complimentary soup and bread was such a nice surprise. The kids' meal was great too. It's a good portion with plenty of veggies, which was nice to see. Overall, a really lovely spot for a family meal. We'd definitely come back!

   Probably the worst dining experience that I've ever had, sat in the restaurant for nearly two hours and left before our mains arrived. Entree prawn tortellini was inedible, rock hard and undercooked. First drinks took half an hour to arrive and we were never asked if we'd like another. The entrees we did eat were fine but not even close to standard for the prices. Will never be back.

   Jamison View Restaurant at The Mountain Heritage. Stunning views, fabulous food and service. It was a very pleasurable dining experience. The beautiful piano playing created a memorable ambience !

   Terrible food. Vegetables seemed like they were from frozen packages, lamb was so tough and dry. The view however was incredible. The bar next to the resteraunt was lovely with good view

    My hubby and I celebrated my birthday and Valentine's Day at Jamieson View Restaurant last night. It was such a beautiful and wonderful night with a spectacular view of Jamieson Valley. We were entertained by a live pianist at the California Bar before our dinner. The pianist did a great job playing tunes perfect for the occasion. The food was fantastic and to die for. We had two entrees; for the main course, I had beef cheek and my hubby had the duck. The staff were friendly and helpful. I can't believe we hadn't discovered this venue before. We'll definitely come back again.
