To be honest, I was underwhelmed. I was expecting more. I don't know why. I chose a simple dish, the Gluten Pasta with the Bolognese sauce, which was delicious. My husband's dish, the seafood capelleti was ok, bu the portion was smaller than expected. He ended up eating some of my father-in-law's dish (he had the regular Bolognese) which was very generous. My husband and I had a side salad to start. I was surprised the my husband's side Caesar was $4 more than my side salad (the server did let us know it would cost more). I guess I was expecting extra little touches. Even some garlic bread or regular bread to start. We don't go out for dinner often, and when we do, we pick restaurants that really excite us. Looking for high quality food with delicious extra touches over frequency of dining out. I wouldn't go back, when I have other great local restaurants that provide us with better experiences.

We always loved Jamie's. It's always our go to when our friends and fam get together. My husband and I were really excited to get out and have a great night with amazing food (from experience). This time around, it was a huge disappointment. My vegan pasta was bland and my husband's clam pasta was overly salty. My friend's pasta, the carbonara, which is what she always orders (she NEVER orders anything else frm the menu) was asking for so much water because her pasta was also super salty. She was also excited for her dinner but was hugely disappointed. We kept switching just to help balance our taste buds. We drank so much water to bring down the saltiness. Lol Felt like my blood pressure was skyrocketing. But we were so hungry. The food took forever so we just wanted to eat. We've always had amazing servers from before. This time, not sure if she was new but she kept saying she was having a really bad night. She kept saying sorry after screwing stuff up. I felt like suggesting (since I used to be a server) to not let people know how her night is going and to just keep it professional with a smile. Just a tip as an ex-waitress. It was topped off with a receipt split up-screw up. She just kept saying I'm having such a horrible night. It was the first time we had a mediocre night at Jamie's. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience next time. Fingers crossed.

The pasta was not good. Tasteless and bland, served room temperature. The service was good to try to accommodate and remade the dishes for us... second attempt was nice and warm, but still lacked flavor with a watery sauce. For the price, would have expected better so wouldn’t return. But kudos to great staff for trying to make it a great experience nonetheless. Appetizers were delicious for what it’s worth!

We went for a meeting among friends we had not seen in a long time and had a nice round table near the back of the restaurant, very nice, not too noisy. The service was good and the food was very good. We really liked the flexible table d'hote where you could pick 2 or 3 selections. The charcuterie board was specially nice!

Ordered spicy sausage penne and was not spicy at all and Pasta was undercooked. Sauce was a bit bland. Service was ok.

Arrived on family day weekend with our two small kids... service was friendly and fast! Great promotion for the long weekend meant the kids are free which really added value to a meal we would have been happy to pay full price for! Kids loved the meal options as did my wife and I. Would definitely return when we are back in Mississauga.

We called for a table of 10 but restaurant advised it was not possible until after 10. We cut our party down to 6. From 7:30 pm until we left, we observed many open tables which could have accommodated our group of 10. In addition, we were seated at a table next to the door where the cold was excruciating. There wasn’t a good selection of drinks or wine. The food was ok. Do not order the salmon. It is a small sliver of fish served on a bed of onions regardless of the description on the menu. The server selected his tip percentage instead of allowing us to choose how much we wanted to tip him. It was an absolutely horrendous dining experience. I would not recommend the JO brand to anyone.
