    First time at the restaurant. Food was very good and the service was excellent! We will definitely come back again. Great for all ages. The history and ambiance make it a great experience.

    The ambiance and service were great. The Big plate dinner I had was terrible, I had the the Mussels and curly fries. The curly fries put it right at a child's plate and the amount of Mussels was the portion of an appetizer. It felt like I was in bar that put in a few short tables to make half of it a restaurant as well.

    James Ave is one of our favorite places in the city. The food is always top notch and the vibe is relaxed yet fun. The view of the Pumphouse creates an amazing ambience that really can’t be beat. Close to the concert hall and the goldeyes ball park we love to make it part of our date nights! We’ve sent so many friends and family to this restaurant and everyone walks away happy! The menu has something for every taste and we’ve never had a dish we didn’t enjoy - and we’ve tried many of them! It’s a must try stop when you’re in Winnipeg!
