    James Ave is one of our favorite places in the city. The food is always top notch and the vibe is relaxed yet fun. The view of the Pumphouse creates an amazing ambience that really can’t be beat. Close to the concert hall and the goldeyes ball park we love to make it part of our date nights! We’ve sent so many friends and family to this restaurant and everyone walks away happy! The menu has something for every taste and we’ve never had a dish we didn’t enjoy - and we’ve tried many of them! It’s a must try stop when you’re in Winnipeg!

    I found for a salad kale only, with a few pumpkin seeds and small toast, and one Margarita cost was 50$ plus tip, very costly no protein , no main - and would certainly not recommend to friends.. was very disappointed in this high price ...for only an appetizer and a drink...

    Enjoyed a delicious dinner of chili coconut mussels, pesto cheesy flatbread and the perogy! All were great but our fave was definitely the xl perogy which was super tasty with the great hit of dill! The mussels were great too! Really wanted to eat all the delicious sauce with a spoon! Our server Ron was just the perfect mix of attentive and informative giving us a great rundown on both the menu and the building history. We will be back for sure!

    Arrived early and the made arrangements to get us in early. Service was fantastic and food was great as usual! Our goto spot in the Exchange District.
