Overall experience on fire was great. I love reggae bands, which is good for the environment. I’ll definitely be back sometime soon. Food was excellent. I would recommend to anyone
The fish with brown sauce was outstanding! Met with friends and was not disappointed. Music was a little loud for talking but they kindly turned it down a bit for us old peeps. Two had the jerk chicken and declared it yummy. A bit expensive for the entrees but worth it. Bread pudding was very good.
The food was amazing- authentic spiced Jamaican Food!
The food tasted great, but the amount was too small.. I’ll still be back though because it’s soo good..
We had a reservation and arrived late due to several accidents on the road. They had given away our table, but we're able to seat us after a short wait. We waited about 20 minutes for the menu, water and drink order. Finally I got up and asked someone, they brought the menus, but nothing else. After another 15 minutes I explained to a waitress the situation and she gave me a strange look. We waited about 10 minutes more and decided to leave. It's a shame, the ambiance is nice and they had a great band playing which is the reason we didn't leave sooner. We've dined there before and had to wait a while for the food, which was very good, but this time it was ridiculous . They are so unorganized. We won't go back!
As always great service. Expecting to return soon for the live band on Fridays!
Thank you for the great service
This was my first time dining at Jamerican Cuisine. I was warned about the pricing beforehand, so that wasn't a surprise and I don't mind spending on good food. I ordered the seafood stew which consisted of shrimp, salmon and lobster in a coconut curry sauce. I requested the the salmon be left out of the dish and perhaps have more shrimp with rice & peas. When my dish arrived, there were three shrimp, one small lobster tail cut in 3 pieces and white rice. This was certainly not worth the $28 price tag.
Our waitress was a young lady who lacked attention to detail. Our mean was missing sides and upon completion of dinner we ordered the bread pudding for dessert. She came back to the table after a long while and asked if we needed anything else or were we ready for the check. We reminded her that we had ordered dessert.
There was a live band on the Friday night we went and that was definitely the highlight of the evening. Dining experience, not so much so.
Food was delicious. More pricey then the internet menu suggested and the music was a bit too loud but again the food was delicious
Jamaican dishes with a twist but still keeping the traditional flavors of Caribbean present.
The Oxtail Rigatoni was superb, best oxtail in a looooong time.
Ambiance was on point
Would suggest a more soothing selection of reggae as some of the clientele may not comprehend dancehall , but I LOVE all sounds of reggae
First I want to say that the food at Jamerican is very good. Everyone enjoyed their food. That said, they got my husband’s order wrong and did not offer to to do anything for him. He did say the rigatoni (without any protein) was tasty but not what he ordered. The service was painfully slow, food took too long to come out. At one point we noticed no one in the restaurant had food. We enjoyed the live music though it was too loud for the size of the restaurant. We could not have a conversation once the band started. Hopefully the slow service was just due to new wait staff. We will try the restaurant again.
My favorite new Boca restaurant. Everyone at the table LOVED his/her dish! Authentic and fresh... great music too. No pretense, just a warm friendly atmosphere and delicious food.
We had a wonderful time.
The oxtail with pasta and the fried brussel sprouts were fantastic, as was the chicken and red lentils soup.
I loved everything about this restaurant. I came here for a date drove 40 miles and it didn’t disappoint. If I’m ever in the area I will be back for sure. I have recommended it to all of my friends!
The food was great. I had the oxtail rigatoni and my daughter had the chicken fried rice. I’ve never seen or heard of oxtail and macaroni but it was soo good and the bread 🤤🤤🤤. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes.
The food was outstanding - the ambiance and the band were great - the service and the bar
choices left a lot to be desired.
What a great find. The food was excellent. We had the ackee app, brown stew chicken and grilled lobster. We both had the rice and peas, too. Servings are large (not sure why some folks suggested otherwise). Everything was very fresh and flavorful. Service is attentive. Owner came out and spoke with us. She was personable and genuinely interested in our feedback. Highly recommend.
Fabulous restaurant! Fabulous food! Fabulous service!
Excellent as always! Food was incredible and service was attentive.
The food was excellent and the live entertainment hit the mark making the evening one for the books.
This is our second time to this establishment and we loved it even more! The live band was fantastic and kept everyone on the dance floor!
The food is AWESOME and Jasmine, Chris and Edgar made the experience phenomenal.
Great food, loved live music on fridays, and will be back for sure
Owner is beautiful. And so was the atmosphere. She came over introduce herelf. And the Food was Amazing 😍
Awesome! Great food
Food was real good but the service was terrible. It took forever to place an order and to get our food. Had to wave down another server to get our bill. We won't be back
I love it!
Good food, the oxtail rigatoni is great! We ordered a few dishes and shared. The only dish I did not love was the jerk pork. Our table had a love seat which was kind of uncomfortable hence why I gave the ambiance a 3 stars. I would definitely go back!!!
OH MY GOSH!! I'm from Jamaica & I've NEVER tasted Jamaican food like this, delicious does not even describe the taste of the food. Although it's a little distance from where I live, I would definitely take the ride up, because it's worth it.
The only thing I did not like, was the loudness of the music, the place is too small for the music to be so loud, I could not have a conversation with the person in front of me.
Somewhat disappointed. The food was good but place was empty and ambience lacking
Great tasting food! Friendly staff and reggae music. A great night. Pro tip: park underground for free in the building - enter on E Boynton Beach Blvd
On the Friday night that we went, they had a DJ playing Reggae music, which I love, but it was played too loud to have dinner conversation at the table. Next time I would ask to be seated outside in the patio!
Servings are very small was still hungry after dinner at the restaurant. Prices were not comparable with other gourmet restaurants
Absolutely fantastic food and service!
Overall had a good experience. Staff very friendly and helpful. We will be back.
Pay a large amount for an little portion of food like a kids meal your ordering defintelty needs more waiters this is more just to go out for drinks not to sit down and eat
What a wonderful surprise this restaurant was. The food is excellent as is the service. We left just as the band was getting ready to play, but I assume it would have been a fun experience. We had a reservation, but I did not know to reserve a low table. Next time I will. The high top table is on the small side for 4 people. However, this did NOT detract from the overall wonderful experience at this restaurant.
Service stellar! Food excellent. I would request a more mild spice. We got there too early to listen to the live music- next time we will go a bit later to enjoy the sounds........but there was fun music in the background to dine by.
Food is incredible! Service is fantastic! Highly recommend!
We enjoyed ourselves. The food was so good and enticing I didn’t get a picture. Will definitely go back and have already recommended to several friends.
This place is a treasure! The food is excellent. We’ve tried many dishes and everything is delicious. My personal favourite is the braised oxtails with jasmine rice, it’s to die for. My family loves all the seafood dishes. This restaurant is a must try. You’ll be very impressed.
The food was very very well presented and it was a great value the service was very good too. The food was delicious...we had the Ackee and Saltfish for an appetizer..and then jerk chicken and chicken fried rice. Delicious.
Nice bottled beer selection, but I would not recommend ordering a Mai Tai. I would definitely go here again!
