Jame is Jackson and Melissa Kalb's first restaurant, focused on Southern Italian cooking and way of life. Jame's vision is to use local, market-driven ingredients to create delicious and unique Italian dishes. This is particularly true in the hand-rolled pastas, but is also seen in other popular dishes like the crispy brussels sprouts, kale salad, and Crispy Braised "Coop's" pork shank.     This restaurant was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. We arrived much earlier than our reservation time, but the staff was incredibly accommodating and managed to seat us right away, which set a wonderful tone for the evening. We chose the DineLA menu, and it was an excellent decision. Every course was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. To start, we sampled all three appetizers — the meatballs were tender and flavorful, the kale salad was fresh and perfectly dressed, and the Brussels sprouts were crispy, caramelized, and incredibly tasty. Each one offered a unique flavor profile, and we genuinely enjoyed them all. For our mains, we tried three different pasta dishes: the paccheri, the bolognese ragù, and the spicy rigatoni. Each one was cooked to perfection and rich with authentic Italian flavors. The paccheri was hearty and satisfying, the bolognese had that classic depth and comfort, and the spicy rigatoni had just the right kick to make it exciting without overwhelming the dish. Dessert was just as impressive. We shared the lemon cheesecake and Nutella cheesecake — both were creamy, decadent, and beautifully balanced in sweetness. A perfect ending to a fantastic meal. To top it off, I had a martini, which was expertly crafted and incredibly smooth — a simple yet perfect complement to the meal. All in all, this was a delightful dining experience — welcoming service, exceptional food, and a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning!

    Terrible wine list especially for the cost of the pasta you’d expect An excellent choice of good wines. Just terrible. Very disappointing 🙁

    Really enjoy the pasta selection here! Very authentic and unique dishes I don’t see elsewhere. The spicy rigatoni, paccheri, and ricotta cavatelli are delicious, but we especially enjoyed the kale salad which was recommended by our server. Who btw, was so kind and didn’t rush us out after we had finished—although of course we didn’t linger—it was nice to receive such great and accommodating service.

    The food and service were good but it smelled really bad - like really caustic cleaner - and we couldn’t enjoy our food so left early.
