Jame is Jackson and Melissa Kalb's first restaurant, focused on Southern Italian cooking and way of life. Jame's vision is to use local, market-driven ingredients to create delicious and unique Italian dishes. This is particularly true in the hand-rolled pastas, but is also seen in other popular dishes like the crispy brussels sprouts, kale salad, and Crispy Braised "Coop's" pork shank. Pasta was OK. Lack of fish for protein with pasta was disappointing. Lack of soup was surprising. Overall decent but that area is too competitive for pasta to be just ok

I think it is way overpriced for a strip mall. The special was a pesto lasagna it was very light and not hot . It was ok. My son only drinks Shirley Temples and they charged 5.00 for each one. We go to many boogie restaurants and they have refills. We have gone here about 2-3 times and it is ok.

As always the food was so good and fast and efficient service. The salads were wonderful (Kale and Italian) as well as the pasta dishes (Bolognese, Pacchieri and Spicy Vodka Rigatoni) we had. Not our first time here and we will def be back again! Loved the new space! So much more comfortable!

Our waiter was brusque and hurried. The music overwhelmed our talking. Such a huge disappointment, as I had talked up Jame to my husband, having been there the week before.

Jame, on SO many levels is quite the quintessential dining experience! From the minute we walked in the door, where we were greeted warmly from the host staff to the service, we received from our server this place does not disappoint. The food in this place rivels any five star restaurant in Los Angeles, Chicago, or New York City. The level of finesse demonstrated in each and every dish we ordered was superlative. The cherry on top is quite frankly, Laurie, the GM. (Sorry if I misspelled her name.) She holds a very special place in my heart. When my late, beloved husband, who was a pro chef was trying to extend his life was suffering with horrific cancer, Chef Jackson's food at Jame was the only cuisine he enjoyed, she hand delivered him the restaurant's famous Hollywood pasta bolognaise along with lasagna where we lived at the time, clear across town in Beverlywood. We look forward to enjoying many more five star meals at Jame. Well done, indeed.
