   We have been to JAM in Sir Thomas Street, Liverpool twice now & each time had prompt, friendly service in clean, bright surroundings. The coffees & specialist teas are delicious & iced water very welcome. 5 out of 6 of us being vegetarian we had fairly limited choice so one of us was disappointed that they'd run out of Veggi-burgers! She opted for salad, which was Ok but not ideal, & chips which disappeared quickly! The Mushroom Risotto was really good. Two salmon fishcakes - as a starter (at about £5.50) seemed positively generous when compared to a very small goats cheese tartlet atop a handful of rocket lettuce - as a main (£12-50) I wonder would chef feel nourished after a full day's work?! Good job there was a pot of new potatoes. Only 1 x dessert ordered - a veritable slab of Bread & butter pudding, blitzed to a rubbery black substance on the top & no evidence of even 1 current or sultana, neither the white chocolate promised on the menu. I don't eat custard & would have liked to be given some options. 2 x v. cold, hard strawberries didn't make it alright. A mixed review therefore - we like your establishment & some of the food, which leaves some fine-tweaking required. The service was great, both from the kitchen & at table. We will consider coming back, in the hopes that our feedback & that of others helps make the difference needed. P.S. I submitted a request for parking info to your main office; it's never been forthcoming, even though I said that the one forum review mentioned some good parking nearby, but just didn't tell us where!

   restaurant was very quiet but we enjoyed the food - the décor is very nice and its a pity more people don't try this restaurant as there is easy parking nearby and the food was really good with a good selection of reasonably priced wine. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine and his recommendation was very good.
