Wait staff was enthusiastic and friendly! Food was amazing! Great brunch vibes! Drink menu is small but perfect!
We were celebrating my husbands birthday. Our service was super rushed, fish was dry and as described on the menu. We couldn’t even address it with the sever because he was super rushed and annoyed the whole time . Our bill was $425 with tip was not worth the money at all . Won’t be back
Very tasty! Will come back!
Abraham our server was very nice & did a very good job being by hisself for a table of 16...the food presentation was beautiful & it was delivered in great timing..the drinks were delicious!!
The food and service were first rate. This is really one of the gems of the Dallas dining scene. Great to be back!
Food was terrific
Margaritas were barely average which was very disappointing
Noise level almost unbearable
Will not be back
Great food, great service! This my first time visiting and I really enjoyed it! I had the salmon and ordered guac for the table; both were so delicious. I'll definitely be back soon!
Unfortunately this establishment has been descending in terms of food and service for a number of years. They have a great bar. Suggest you do drinks and apps here and go elsewhere for dinner. That's how we'll do it next time.
It was meh in my opinion. Homemade chips were great. The red salsa was good. Guac was good. My skinny margarita didn’t have much flavor and the hibiscus ranch water I found awful. My regular ranch was fine but didn’t come served as depicted in topo bottle. We split the pork and my partner liked it but I didn’t care for it all. Lots of fat. It’s in a business park so ambience is soso.
We’ve been to Jalisco’s a number of times and always had an amazing meal. Unfortunately, this last visit was mediocre at best. The house margaritas were flat (tasted bland), the entree’s were cold and were…well, just ok. We would normally “ooh” and “aah” over each dish and rotate plates around the three of us. Not last night. Perhaps our expectations were too high.
The menu has been significantly reduced. There were two chef specials - both salads. Salads. Really? Never heard of a special salad. Service was fine. No issue there.
Will we go back? Not without some research. We suspect the kitchen staff has been changed, and not for the better.
Outstanding service and food! We loved the carne asada, halibut, chicken mole and queso fundido. We came for happy hour the previous week and loved it so much that we came back for lunch. Tip - It’s a GREAT happy hour.
What I appreciate so much is the staff's dedication to providing not only the highest quality food, but experience. We are Mexican and had yet to find a place that was authentic and high quality. That is until we learned and visited Jalisco Norte. This place is SSSSSOOOOO AMAZING that my wife and I first visited this place TWICE within the SAME DAY!!! Chef Jose Meza is inspired. Using the best ingredients, he can take a simple Mexican dish and elevate it to a level that hits every note of flavor. We are grateful EVERY time we visit.
Jesus was an amazing server, very nice and helpful. The food was delicious and it’s on our reoccurring list now. 🔥
Jose Meza “Noma Restaurant, Copenhagen, Denmark training at his best every time!”
Food overall was average for Mexican food. Ambience was good but noise level very high in the room where we sat. Might have enjoyed sitting at the bar with apps better.
Really enjoyed my special birthday dinner out with my family at Jalisco Norte. It was an early weeknight dinner. The menu provided something for everyone. My salmon was well prepared, the margarita was great, and the birthday tres leches cake was a special treat! Service was wonderful. The only negative to report was noise level in the dining room. We were seated in the part of the restaurant with glass windows all around and despite this portion not being full at all (two groups of maybe 8-10 people and a few tables with 2 to 4), it was really loud and hard to have a conversation. I'd go again but would request to be seated in a different part of the restaurant.
One of my favorite places to eat in Dallas! Such great Mexican dishes and ambiance to celebrate any occasion! Also has wine from the Guadalupe Valley(wine country in Mexico). Wait staff is so helpful and really exceeds the expectations!
Everything was good except the wait time for the table. Had a reservation at 9pm got sat at 9:30pm. Sat at the bar during the wait time but we don’t drink and preferred table. I loved the vibe the decorations and the food and the waiter was great!!
First time at here. Definitely won’t be the last.
It was awesome. The food was great the service was great
I will be back
Great waiter Leo!
I always love Jalisco. Every dish is amazing, the staff is knowledgeable on every menu item, cocktails are perfect, and the decor adds the right ambiance to the dining experience.
They serve great authentic Mexican food. Not Tex-Mex. Very good!
Sitting in the tree area service is slower to refill chips and salsa
The food was good, but one person in our party has lactose intolerant so ordered the chilaquiles With No cheese, no cheese she said and the waiter replied No cheese, the meal came WITH cheese.
Because we had been waiting for long, she didn’t send those back, it was the kind of place where they bring you the drinks and make you wait long before having the order taken.
In fact we told them 2 times we were ready to order and just at the third time we call then the order was taken.
We were hungry already and when the chilaquiles came with cheese it was too late to again wait even more.
Then with the check, the waiter said my 2 credit cards were denied whereas I’ve been in town 2 Full days already and buying all kind of stuff and paying in different stores, so we had to pay in cash, lucky us we had enough for the unexpected situation.
Not a pleasant visit.
Another great experience at Jalisco Norte! 31st Anniversary was awesome!
Jose was knowledgeable and has great recommendations. He makes every visit fantastic.
Great food and atmosphere!
We used to have another "Go to..." Mexican restaurant but the quality of their food has been poor of late. Hands down, Jalisco Norte is among the best, if not the best, Mexican restaurant we have ever visited. My only regret is that it has been open, and within walking distance of our home, for several years and we discovered it only 2 weeks ago.
The food was amazing, everyone was so kind, and the service was just exceptional! The best Mexican restaurant in Dallas by far!
Service was ok but food not that really. We went there to celebrate my brothers bday and the waiters don’t even sing. It could be a better ambiance.
Outstanding service by angel and the food is always great! This is my fav place
No words it was amazing 👍🏼🙏🏼
Two Birthdays. Very disappointed that nothing was done until we had to ask and that’s after someone called to confirm the reservation and the birthday. Someone brought a cake to share as we were living. We spent a lot of money but nothing to celebrate the birthdays. What happened to good customer service? I guess y’all don’t want return business.
The first time I went to brunch I received burned eggs with a bottle of salsa on top. I gave them a second chance. I asked for poached eggs with a runny yolk. I was given overcooked eggs. I sent them back and asked for over-easy eggs and they gave me overcooked eggs. The ham had a strange flavor and the beans were inedible. These eggs must be sitting under a heat lamp for a long time to be consistently be overcooked. I'll never go back again for brunch. The evening meals I have had there have been ok at best, but edible, but the brunch is so bad that it makes me not want to go there at all.
Jalisco is a total gem! Tucked back in the corner, it's an oasis of modern decor, fabulous service and creative Mexican dishes and drinks. Definitely coming back!
The best waiter and the food is oh-em-gee. Delicious cocktails and the vegan cauliflower was outstanding.
