really good food and clean, Covid-sensitive environment. the chips and salsa are really good and we also received a black bean dip that was **amazing!! we could have licked the bowl. I ordered the nachos appetizer as an entree and it was a large portion. I couldn't finish it all. you can choose from plain, beans, several proteins and combos. I had bean and ground beef but next time I will ask for black bean dip and ground beef. the wine list is super basic but also quite inexpensive. don't expect anything fancy. my husband had one of the taco-enchilada combos and also enjoyed it. the servers are very friendly and helpful too. this will definitely be our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Sarasota!!
Staff was very friendly and inviting. Food was great...hot and tasty. Pleasant waitstaff.
Our waitress was pleasant. She was attentive at first but it was difficult to get her attention for a second beverage and when we did it took 15 minutes for it to arrive. My husbands steak fajita was overcooked, luke warm and had chicken and shrimp in it. My enchiladas were fine.

This is hands down our favorite Mexican restaurant. We have lived in this area for more than 12 years and JALISCO is the best!
Food was one of the best Mexican places we have been to in Sarasota, waitress was very nice just wish they would take used dishes away when they come by. The mojitos were great. not much negative to say it was very enjoyable

Food was great proportions, chips and salsa fresh. We were not rushed and the entire staff made sure they kept appropriate spacing.

We absolutely love this restaurant and are so pleased to have them open again. Servers and staff gloved and masked with tables appropriately spaced. And our favorite waitress is still there 🥳
Waited very long time to get waited on.....my husband ordered a burrito w/chicken and got beef. When we mentioned it they offered to bring a new one, but my husband is a diabetic and was hungry so we said no. Thought maybe they'd take it off the bill but did not offer. I had a margaritta and way too much ice.
Always great food! So happy to be able to eat at the restaurant, after only getting take-out.

Very generous portions, enough to take some home.

It was a seriously rough start. Had a reservation and restaurant staff blatantly ignored us at the door. Not one person said somebody will be right with you. Staff passed us looking down many times for 10 minutes no exaggeration. We were finally seated and a girl dropped off chips and salsa. We finished it all because we were very hungry so no complaint there. But we sat with empty bowl and no drinks not even a greet by a server for another 15 minutes. Asked for service multiple times and still no server. I wish I were exaggerating slightly. When our server finally came our drinks came out quick and food immediately after. Food was great and will definitely go back with my own bottle of water just in case.

Jalisco doesn't disappoint! We have been going here since the week it opened, ordered 3 times during the shutdown, those meals were just as good as at the table.
This visit was a little rocky BUT it was the first day of reopening and we arrived shortly after they opened. The food and drinks didn't disappoint but the service was a little slow. I again attribute this to reopening.
This restaurant consistently delivers good quality food, large portions and friendly service...will go back there frequently!!!
Clean, great food presentation. Reasonable selection for those in our party that did not want Mexican.
Salad was a bit skimpy as an entree but was good. Only two bowls of complimentary chips not enough for our group because they were so good and nice and hot.
Great, friendly neighborhood place to eat with fantastic cuisine! Great value— honestly the best rice I’ve ever had anywhere— and it’s consistently good! Great enchiladas, highly recommend! We bring our family here whe they visit and they love it as well!

Thank you for making my husband's birthday party such a fun and sweet time! We loved the ambiance! The food was excellent and very authentic! Our server did a great job managing our 10 table order! The music was awesome! The special birthday treat and Mexican sombrero were such an added touch to make our celebration special! Again, thanks again! We'll be back again!
A great experience- great service and food was delicious. Prices are more than reasonable- i absolutely love their rice. Tamales were great- sauces were good as well! My husband had a taco in what looked like the perfect puff pastry with Chile con carne on top- he loved it. We ordered the choriqueso dip and the flavor was amazing! We will be back!
