Excellent food and good value for money (at Disney prices, anyway). Love sitting on the waterfront patio, where it is more peaceful and quieter than inside which tends to be louder. Excellent service, as usual, from John (Bebo)!!

The food was out of this world! Chef Jose Andres is a genius and it shines through clearly at Jaleo Disney Springs! The service was top notch along with the beverage selection. I can’t wait to come back!!!

It had been a while since I’ve been here. This was once an excellent restaurant that I always took visitors to. I probably won’t be back for a while. They still have a great drink and wine list. However, the quality of food has declined. The shrimp looked like they were frozen from Publix instead of the sizzling head on shrimp that I previously had. Their croquettes are now served on a side plate, the tomato bread was cold and again just on a side plate. It just feels like they have tried to cut costs everywhere with poor quality and presentation. Yet a lot more expensive. It’s sad because restaurant game in Orlando has really improved and I don’t think it can keep up at this rate Service was still excellent. Just as I remembered.

Went for my fathers birthday. Our server Gabriel had a poor attitude from the jump. Had a hiccup with first ordering the wine, got confused and put in a glass of wine when my parents asked for the bottle. No biggie. Our parents ordered a seafood paella and they were disappointed that it was more soupy than a traditional paella, that was our bad for not inquiring enough and just assuming it would be dry. The main problem tho came when my parents ordered the same burger I ordered previously. The burgers don’t come with sides, sides are extra. I ordered a side of delicious mushrooms to go with it. When my parents ordered the burger, the server assumed she also wanted another side of mushrooms. But we didn’t, there were enough left from my original order. Then a good runner brought out the mushrooms and we politely said we did not mean to order another one. When Gabriel came back he made a rude remark to my parents in Spanish. Basically translating to “For next time, I have to make sure to repeat EVERYTHING TWICE so you guys know what you’re ordering.” That is when my father lost it and called for the manager. I’m sorry for the way my father reacted but at the end of the day, totally unprofessional of Gabriel to in-effect call my parents slow and especially on my father’s 69 birthday. I’m a server myself and while it felt awkward the whole time, in hindsight, Gabriel is not equipped to be a server at such a high end restaurant that uses auto gratuity. Half the servers in my restaurant can do double the job he does. The manager and buss boy who attended and helped us throughout were lovely tho. Don’t get me wrong the restaurant is pricey and deserves to be. But I’m worried about the service and inclusion of auto-gratuity if they employee servers like Gabriel.

Another amazing experience at this restaurant. Our waiter Eric navigated us through the menu in an expert way. Multiple flavors and the perfect amount of food for us.

This was, without question, one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had in a very long time. Let’s start with the food. On a Friday afternoon, the dining room was only moderately busy, yet what arrived at our table felt like the output of a kitchen operating on autopilot. Dishes meant to be served hot arrived cold. There was no spark, no soul, no flavor that lingered long enough to start a conversation. There was none of that infectious joy that José’s restaurants usually inspire—the kind of meal that makes you pause between bites and smile. The cono de atún and cono de salmón were laughably small—a fraction the size of their counterparts in D.C. and Las Vegas. So small, in fact, I wondered if anyone back of house can actually get tuna or salmon inside. These weren’t canapés; they were culinary vanishing acts. The Bikini de Sobrasada was another misfire. Greasy, flattened, cold cheese inside—it looked and tasted like something microwaved at a gas station, not plated at a José Andrés restaurant. The so-called Jose’s house-made chips on the side? Indistinguishable from a bag of Lay’s. I’m not exaggerating. We asked—kindly—if we could order the setas salteadas from the dinner menu, a favorite of ours. The kitchen obliged, which we appreciated, but what arrived felt like a cruel parody: stone-cold potato purée, an overcooked egg (boiled, not poached), and mushrooms that were tired before they hit the pan. Food, when done right, carries intention. This tasted like resignation. The carne The carne asada lunch portion was also cold, bland, and uninspired. And as for the kids’ version? A tough, rubbery slab of meat nearly impossible to cut with the dull butter knife we were given. A significantly different cut than the regular menu Item. When I asked for a steak knife or help slicing it in the kitchen, I was told, simply, “We can’t.”
