It was wonderful to return to Jaleo dining indoors. After my first Metro ride, arriving at Jaleo I felt my return to my favorite restaurant was returning to happier times.
Our Server was polite , knowledgeable about the menu and very helpful to make our lunch a delight and memorable. When we indicated a wish to share the Gaspacho, it arrived as two servings. He served the rest at a good pace. Perfect and cant wait to return

This is one of my favorite restaurants in DC. A tried and true, quality dining experience. Everything is flavorful, seasonal, and prepared with mastery.

Went for Sunday brunch. During the pandemic, they took excellent precautions and we felt safe. They keep surprising with new items on their menu despite being in business for years in this DC location. We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here years ago and we're glad it's still as good as ever.

Great sangria, classic tapas, and some with a refreshing spin. Attentive service and a good time.

Jaleo is a tapas restaurant with small portions that are shareable. The food is good quality and deceptively fattening, so I try not to eat here too often as it's loaded with carbs and fats, but very tasty! The cocktails are not that great, but the wine list is interesting and different. During the pandemic, I always felt very safe eating inside as well as outside. Inside, the tables are spaced very, very far apart, ventilation is strong, the ceilings are higher than a church's, and there is plexiglas between each table. They're very careful. Service is usually great.

This was our first visit based off of a personal recommendation. There was so much to decide from, we ended up going with the Jaleo Classic tasting for our group. We were stuffed! The waiters were super attentive. We waiting for nothing. Plates were brought out with perfect timing and drink glasses were never empty. I have Celiac's disease and need to stay gluten free. I was pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable and easily accomodated my diet was.

Good food as expected. Good for party more than 2 to share different varieties. Will definitely come back.

Always amazing.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the pricing very reasonable. We especially loved the croquetas de pollo and manzanas con hinojo y queso Manchego. The ambiance was chic, and I liked how each table had it’s own plastic walls to separate it from the others.

We were very impressed with our Jaleo experience. Interesting and diverse menu. High quality food and the service was outstanding. We would recommend this restaurant.

Have been dating at Jaleo with my family for almost 8 years. Always delicious and special.

We order chef’s menu for $55 per person. Nothing outstanding. Quantity is small. Not worthy the price tag. The waitress doesn’t introduce the items in the menu. Poor choice

Amazing from beginning to end! We showed up 30 minutes early and were accommodated 15 minutes later, totally unexpected but very appreciated. Service was amazing, as was the food, cocktails and wine service. I would highly recommend this experience to all.

Jaleo is a resplendent hideaway in the middle of down town DC. A moments walk from the mall, Jaleo offers a taste of spain in the heart of America. Their dishes are top notch and their service is impeccable. The only weird part was the decor on the bathroom floor. Seriously. Who made that decision?

Food is beyond nasty and expensive for nothing

Loved everything, great service and the food was excellent!! We had croquetas de jamón and patatas bravas and the most amazing chicken and mushroom paella, my party of 3 ate it all!! For dessert, although we were full, we had the creamiest flan and a delicious cortadito. Please reserve a table, you won’t regret it!!

Food and wine were delicious. Although, my wife was miffed that the crepe brûlée was served cold.

I am sure it is a fun place with a great atmosphere without the pandemic precautions.

The tasting menu was excellent and a surprisingly good value. Service was personable and efficient. The outdoor seating was comfortable but also felt festive.
