Everything was perfect. I was dining with my parents who are not adventurous eaters yet the waiter was able to recommend dishes that they loved.

The drinks were amazing. I had the white wine flight and my husband had the sparkling sangria. The food was terrible. Everything lacked seasoning/flavor. This is a great place to grab drinks, but that’s about it.

Tapas at its best. The price is so reasonable and it is so easy to share your meal with friends. Excellent service. We did miss out on a take home for a leftover piece of chicken....server was too quick for us! Overall excellent inspire of the disappearing leftover chicken! 😊

Don't even understand the good reviews?! Portions were extremely small-suitable for one person - not for sharing which is the whole purpose of tapas- Sangria was good- food was just so so- nothing really delicious or memorable, expected more from a great Chef owner, there were at least six servers just standing around chatting while we needed additional service. With so many great restaurants in area, no reason to go here. We had the potato wrapped chorizo, mussels, potatos bravas, special house salad, and a few other tapas that I can't even remember! All food was bland or boring, no bread served with mussels - the iberico pork slider was one small bland slider- All in all a very disappointing and very overpriced experience-

Always good food here. The red sangria was amazing. The tapas are also good but a lot of what we ordered were very similar in flavor. Would’ve loved the waiter to steer us to a wider variety. We asked for recommendations but he really didn’t give much.

Food was OK but service was quite poor. We ordered about 10 different small plates; They brought all the vegetarian stuff first (7 plates). The other three plates which were seafood were delayed by over 25 minutes AFTER we were finished with all the other food. By then, everybody has lost interest in eating and the whole experience was spoiled. The waiter clearly forgot to put in the order and he just gave us a "aw shucks" kind of response.

BTW, this is the second Jose Andres restaurant where something like this has happened to us. I don't think I will be going to any of his restaurants again.

Everything is good, menu is a little hard to navigate, food was good and fast. Not packed on Saturday noon, which is to my liking. Only small issue was that one server tried to take plates away while I was still working on the food, quite rude.

We had a group of 8 people to celebrate a retirement. The food was very good and came out relatively quickly (a few dishes were slow). Wine list is good, sangria excellent, noise level very high.

I live Jaleo's. Food is always great. The only reason I marked down service was because they were so crowded it delayed us getting food. That I could understand, but it took forever to get a glass of wine as well. I still highly recommend Jaleo's.

We've been to Jaleo before but this was our best meal ever. I think because we're learning our way around the menu. We focused on vegetable and seafood plates and all were fantastic. Can't wait to go again.

Great food and fun times at Jaleo's Crystal City location. Eating outside on a mild evening was delightful. Fave dishes are the bacon wrapped dates and the shrimp w/ garlic.

Excellent service and outstanding atmosphere. The tapas were delicious, had above average portion sizes, and was very intriguing. The wine bottle selection was vast but a simple cab or merlot did just the trick. I would go here again and again.

Yes it was loud. Recently visited Spain and was disappointed with 2 of 3 items. The fennel apple salad was fabulous. Sparkling Rose was not very bubbly. Shrimp overdone the potato omelet dish was oily and bland. Waiter was professional but not engaging.

On Friday night, the noise started low at 7:30pm but the volume steadily increased so that we did have to talk loudly just to hear each other. The food was top notch. We had a variety of dishes and even my twelve year old daughter approved. The service is attentive. But it is a tapas bar, so don't expect your waiter to be hovering. Go to enjoy your company, the food, and the evening.

I would have given five stars across the board except: we were sat in the middle of the dining room which I hate. There were plenty of empty tables along the perimeter when we arrived for our 530 res. Yes we had kids with us but still! The wait staff kept bumping into my chair.
We bought the tasting menu. The food was excellent except for the hair that I found in one of the courses which was sent back. Drinks were slow to come out. I actually sat without anything to drink for a good while.
