Request a booth or in the bar area. We were on a date sitting right next to another couple and right in the walkway where all the servers passed.

Service & surrounding ambience were very good but there were 3 food disappointments : 1 tenderloin steak was overcooked and no char to it, as if something was wrong with the grill. Ordered medium rare and it arrived very medium. 2. No spinach salad on the menu 3. The bread. 3 choices but 2 of them very stale on one side Not the JaKs meal I was anticipating. I’m sure it’s breaking in the new space and kitchen. We will wait a bit to try again.

Working the kinks out in a new location.Some food cold.Steak rarer than requested.Water glasses not refilled.Servers very pleasant.Garage parking very convenient.Will wait a few weeks before returning.

We came in on a weekday and was able to get a reservation. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Service is attentive and friendly. We would definitely come back for a date night!

Front desk man could use some training. New space is beautiful; food was great; as with every new place, timing was a little off but our thoughtful serve brought a couple things to have while we waited for our food. I am a frequent Jak's patron at both their locations; I WILL be back. E.

The dinner was great. Good meat for my husband and great cheeseburger for me. The only thing that bothered us was the smell of fish in the restaurant. We came for meat not to smell fish with our white wine and appetizers.

Really great to see a neighborhood staple not just expand, but evolve without giving into all the trends right now in American/New American dining. My specific criticism shouldn’t deter diners, so I’ll send a note to the JaK’s team and simply state here that my party had a lovely meal and appreciated the attentive and warm service from our server. We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

We’ve always loved JaK’s, and it just hit a whole lot better in their new location (gorgeous!) WITH a parking garage. Great for a weeknight dinner, weekend brunch, special occasion - JaK’s is our go to in Seattle.

Never thought I would walk out, just after being seated. Grand Opening disappointment!! No engagement or welcoming in, changed menu. Waiter couldn’t get our order correct, came back to our table 3 times to change my wife’s salad not offering a solution, claims 2 chefs were arguing over making grilled chicken or grilling shrimp so we left. Not the experience we have enjoyed being loyal customers for 20+ years.

Jak’s is better than ever in its new location. We had the pleasure of sampling the new items on the menu— all fantastic. The leather booths are super cozy and sleek. A+ for ambiance. And of course, the staff treats you like family. ❤️ Cheers to new beginnings and keeping the traditions that have made Jak’s one of our go-to spots for 25 years.
