Went there for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. I have celiac so I need to be careful with everything, the waiter was so knowledgeable about everything even the drinks. Will definitely be going back

Went for Vanentine's Day dinner. We arrived 10 minutes early, and we were seated immediately.
The food was excellent, and the portions were reasonable for the price.
The only issue that I had was that the tables were much too close together, and out table was perpendicular to a booth, so I was looking at a the back of a woman's had as I looked across the table at my wife.
I was also a bit surprised that they didn't give a flower to the women, as most restaurants that I have gone to on previous Valantine's Days did so.
The food was okay. The steak was a bit chewy. The waiter was good.
Jake's has great food. I've never had a bad meal there. The rack of lamb is fabulous! Really outstanding!
It was a nice restaurant. The waiter, Paul, was good. Unfortunately, the $45 Jake's filet was overdone. It was supposed to be medium but it was very well done and dry. This restaurant is a bit far for us and it is located in a dangerous place to drive out of. The ambience was nice and I think locals would like it.
Went for Restaurant Week because they offered a wide variety on that menu. We found the food that we chose to be excellent! They also have this menu as a pre-fixe menu during the week. I would recommend this and will do it again. Eddie was our waiter. He was attentive and he gave very good suggestions.
I ate at Jake's Steak House for Long Island Restaurant week. The food was absolutely incredible! For starters, I had the Bang, Bang shrimp. My husband had the mussels in white sauce. Both were delicious! For my entrée I had the short ribs! It was the most tender, delicious dish! I didn't even have to use my knife! My husband had the stuffed pork chop! Amazingly tasty! Dessert was Apple crisp ala mode! And even the coffee was fabulous! I highly recommend this restaurant , and will be eating there again soon.
Server was polite and professional. Food was not as I had remembered from previous experiences. Steak was tough and tasteless.
Reservation honored on time. Wait staff professional, amenable, attentive. Food excellent, restaurant week special however, would return on any other occasion. We enjoyed our meal.

They seated us quickly. Food was great and so was the service. It was just a bit noisy by the bar probably because it was Saturday evening. Otherwise no complaints!

never spoke to us other than to ask for our order We all ordered the skirt steak, mine and my husbands was excellent, my friends was terribly overcooked I would not go back at regular price Jake's is on a par with a local pub
We went to Jake's for Restaurant Week. Our appetizers were delicious - the bruschetta and the shrimp. My husband's strip steak was very good. The skirt steak was disappointing - very chewy. I was also disappointed that there were NO reasonably priced bottles of wine. Bottles started at $45 and went up from there. No reason you can't offer $30-35 bottles of wine.
Overall, food and service very good. Appetizers were very good and marinated skirt steak was cooked perfectly. Desserts delicious. Great value for restaurant week.
We stopped in to Jake's for restaurant week. The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Highly recommend the braised boneless short ribs! We will definitely be back!
Visited for Restaurant Week. Food was delicious and service was great. Even though it was quite crowded our waiter continually checked on us and our meals. We had the mussels appetizer which was wonderful. Our steaks were cooked perfect. Wonderful evening all around. We’ll definitely be going back
We really enjoy dining at Jake's. Our latest trip was during restaurant week and as usual we left feeling very satisfied. Great price and very nice menu and everyone was very happy with the options. Looking forward to the warmer weather and heading outdoors.
I went for the LI restaurant week and while the meal size was ample it paled in comparison
to the meals at other restaurants we tried during restaurant week. We had the ribs and the
skirt steak and they both suffered from way, way too much sauce. I doubt we will try them again.
