My daughter and I had porterhouse steaks which were perfectly cooked, my creamed spinach was awesome. Cesar salad was great, her new England clam chowder was nothing like Bigelows serves! 5 stars fur the food anyway cuz the steaks were on the money! Service lost a star because I had to ask for bread. I tipped the same I would anyway.
Great service. Great food.
Great steaks and sides. The service was excellent and prices were very good. Would definitely recommend.
When I walked in the restaurant the place smelled like mildew carpet. The appetizers tasted like frozen food that was warmed up. The drinks were ok. The entree tasted good, but then I ended up getting sick from the food later that evening. I would not go back.
The service was terrible and when the steaks came out they were all cooked wrong. Terrible place
Seats have rips in the. Place looks old and worn out. Food could be much better. Steak was dry and over cooked ..so we’re the sides. Not impressed at all.
Good place to eat with a choice of Bar area or Dinning room or outside with a bar. Good Specials
Had the best meal and our waitress Nicole was great. I will be back for sure
First time dining in the LI version of Jake's Steakhouse and I was pleasantly surprised. A Bronx boy through and through, my loyalty will always reside with the Bronx location, but Jakes LI offered all of the familiar comforts that the original location offers. From the comfortable setting to the delicious menu options, it was like walking into a home away from home. My wife and I tried items off the specials menu and were not disappointed. The food was tasty and perfectly seasoned. We washed everything down with a bottle from their comprehensive wine selection and a delicious cocktail from the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive and it was evident that the management was on top of their game. Needless to say we will be back the next time we are out east.
Ordered two filets. One was overcooked and dry. Bread felt stale although flatbreads were good. Ran out of one of the desserts ordered. Waitress was superb.
The food was okay, expensive and not the best I've ever had. The service was very good and attentive but it will be a long time before I return.
Soup was ice cold; waitress was walking around with eyes to the floor. Finally had to get up and get her! Otherwise, ok. Need more attentive wait staff.
On a recent visit, my husband and I ordered the T-Bone steak and petite filet mignon, respectively, with lobster mac and cheese as a side. The food and service were excellent.
Excellent food and service .
A little pricey for serving size
Would definitely return !
As always Jakes food is great and the service is perfect.
We love Jake's. The rack of lamb is sooooooo good. Steaks are good. Service is good.
Waiter Christian very good
Good meal as always
Specials are very good
Best service..all the staff were attentive and just great service from all
Everything was excellent food was good service was excellent had no problems would definitely be recommending this restaurant
I went with my family which included my husband, 9 yo, 1 yo, and myself. The service was friendly and professional, the food delicious, and the atmosphere was nice without being stuffy that you can get from many steakhouses. I live a half hour away and I will most definitely be returning because of our fantastic experience here last night!
Great food, great service, great place. Parking attendant was a superb worker, with a great personality.
Our T-bone steaks were awesome! Can't wait to go back.
My date thought Jake’s was just a wonderful experience,,, and so did I.
Will be returning, soon
The steak here was AMAZING. Possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. And the thick cut bacon is we delicious. Great service and location.
Overall extremely good
My clams oreganata were under cooked and drippy. And my entree was lacking as well. Not very impressed.
Jake’s is the best. We had a great waitperson, Peter, friendly and personable. The food is top shelf. Watermelon martini was very tasty. As always from the wedge salad to crab cakes to the flavorful filet mignon s with blue cheese and sauce, so good. It was my brother Mike Leahy’s Birthday, so pleased with this restaurant. We meet here since we’re in Brooklyn and brother is in LI.
What a great place, we even celebrated Easter there as well and their menu was on point. You have to really eat here. A gem of a restaurant!🤗
From beginning to end everything was perfect we were seated as soon as we walked in appetizers came out in a timely manner had the fried calamari was very good for the main course had to 35 day dry aged ribeye cooked perfect my wife had the Chilean sea bass was excellentMy mother had the shrimp scampi shrimps were large scampi sauce I just the right amount of garlic in it the desserts we had 2 bread putting’s and one brownie sundae were excellent if you live on Long Island in Nassau County there is absolutely no reason to go to the city it’s cheaper and just as good Forget Morton’s
Jake's turned into the perfect spot for a late afternoon Mother's Day dinner. Our table of 4 had a grand time. Our waitress, Nicole, was always present and cheerful. The food was excellent. Mother's Day can be a difficult day to dine. We found the food and service to be exceptional which is saying something on this day. Jake's didn't skimp. I had a Chilean Sea Bass that was priced fairly and was prepared perfectly. We have always liked Jake's but it was easily as good today as it typically is. Great visit.
Very well done. Everything we had was amazing. My sons had Filet Mignon which was amazing. I had the rack of lamb, again very well cooked and tender. The wife had the bone in filet which was absolutely amazing as well.
Terrific food, great service and excellent value!
Was party of three. Had to sit in bar area as told there were only two 3 person tables which were in the bar area and no other tables for 3 available in dining area for hours which would be a 4 person table. They also could not put two 2 person tables together. They were booked.
Very very noisy. Loud bar patrons (including children) a couple of feet away from our heads/seats. They moved us to the other 3 person table in the bar area but still noisy with patrons, music and TVs. One out of three chairs at each table was sticky.
Had option to leave but stayed anyway as first time we were there. Hoped food was better.
My medium skirt steak was well done with not a sign of pink. Was told they could return it but opted not to, as uncomfortable returning food. Brought it home for pets. Son’s strip steak was good and husbands filet mignon a bit salty.
Have found better steak places on Long Island for similar price. Would not recommend without sharing experience.
Food and service was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back!
Jake’s Steakhouse offered an incredible Pre fixed menu during for restaurant week that was outstanding in every way without sacrificing quality and service. Jakes is a great place for any occasion
This is a very friendly and upbeat restaurant. Food was delicious! Our waiter, Peter, was fantastic! I would recommend this place for a nice evening out!
Food was delicious and plentiful....disappointed that the mussels were removed from the Restaurant Week Appetizer selections. Skirt steak was a little overdone; more medium than medium rare, but tender and delicious nonetheless.
We ate there because it was restaurant week and we wanted to experience a local steakhouse. Our food, service and table made this a truly enjoyable night out.
The table we were sitting at was right by the door, very cold. Sorry we did not ask to move to
a better table.
Have never been disappointed
