Jakers Bar and Grill - Twin Falls
Lobster bisque was just ok, Ceasar salad was good, pan fried trout was bland. Service was good, booths were too high, I'm average height and could not touch the floor. I will try again but change my selections.
I would recommend this as a great restaurant for virtually every palate. Great seafood, steaks, salads and soups. Service is always great and prices are very reasonable.
My husband and I went on a date at Jakers in Twin Falls. The steaks were delicious as were the sides. My Creme brûlée was amazing. The wait staff was attentive but not disruptive. It was a very pleasant evening.
We celebrated my husband’s Birthday and it was fabulous!!!!
Did not recognize the reservation from “open table “.
We love Jakers! Food is consistently delicious!!
Very good service. Food is amazing. Prices are surprisingly low for the quality of everything. I will be returning.
A great place to go and enjoy a meal you will remember and brag to others. Probably the best baked potato I can ever remember enjoying. Would go back just for a baked potato. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. Servings tend to be large in size, a real value for the cost.
Don, Thank you for the review! I am glad you enjoyed your visit with us. Have a great night, Joe
I give the food and overall a 3 star and value a 2 star simply because my wife's steak was not cook very good. She asked for Medium but when she got it half was almost raw and the other half was well done. She sent it back and the cook was very nice and delivered her a new steak, but it was the same result. She decided to eat it that way instead of making an issue of it. For the price of the steak I would have sent it back until it was right, but she doesn't like to trouble people. My steak was very good and well worth the money. The drinks and service were very good.
Josh, Thank you for the review. I am sorry that we failed to get your wives order correct. I would like to make up for the disappointing experience. I will pm you my contact information. Thank you for your time and comments, Joe DeBoard
First time visitor, food was just okay, long wait between salad and entrees, claimed to have issue in kitchen, made no serious attempt to redress. I suspect had it not took so long and the prime rib was served more than lukewarm it would have been a much better experience.
Mike, I am sorry to hear your experience was not better. I will use your comments as a training tool for my team. Thank you for the review, Joe
Great prime rib, great drinks and great service. Will definitely visit again.
Thank you for the great review Mike! Joe
Our server Jay was very friendly and very accommodating. Couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. The food was excellent and the bar knows how to make great tasting drinks.
Our server Sadie was so pleasant and helpful. The scones with honey butter were warm and tasty. Great baked potatoes. The kobe steak and sirloin were cooked perfectly medium rare.
Our waitperson, Sienna, elevate our dining experience into something exceptional.
We had the most wonderful experience. Wish we lived here and could go all the time. Sienna was the most wonderful waitress. Our beef tips and mushrooms on toast points were unbelieveable. The potato skins were also amazing. Loved the scones too.?first our waitress was the best. She was so friendly and helpful..our experience was over the top.
I always like to eat at Jaker's and it is my choice when asked. I do recommend Jakers to others. I wasn't thrilled with the meal I had the last time I ate there, but remember how good the halibut was the 2 times I had it before this past Saturday. I should have stayed with what I knew was good, but decided to broaden my horizons and ordered Brisket. The meat had a lot of fat, but the flavor was good as was the sauce. And the french fries were done just right.
Very good - only issue was that my husband ordered the liver and asked for no onions. It arrived with onions, but they returned and brought a new plate quickly. I loved the smoked salmon!
Friendly service, good food if you stick with what they’re good at - steaks, trout and baked potato. Skip the main dish salads if you’re expecting fresh ingredients. Also stick with draft beer if you’re drinking. We made the mistake of ordering margaritas and they were really bad. Don’t know if bartender had an off night but it’s pretty hard to ruin margaritas.
Flavorable prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes and Caesar salad. Great service!
Our server Michaela was excellent! We were on our way hone to California and she sent us home with coffee to go to help keep us awake!
No wait, offered a table for the two of us alongside a party of 10- we requested something else as the place was only about half full. Eyes rolled by hostess and after she ran in circles for a sec we got a great booth and had a super meal served by Jay. Fresh coffee, quick with the apps, tasty dinner, and lovely scones- will be back.
I love Jakers, so it wasn’t any surprise that this visit was no different. Our waitress, Candace, was absolutely wonderful. Knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The brisket was delicious, and I can’t even tell you how amazing the au gratin potatoes were! I had a drink called the “Electrolyte” and it was fresh, crisp, and perfect for a hot day. You really can’t go wrong with Jakers. So many restaurants are hit or miss, but Jakers is consistently above average!
Our Server Dakota was attentive and did not miss a beat. She was attentive. Took our orders quickly, kept our glasses filled and took our plates away as soon as we were done. I wish all wait people were like her.
It looks like a typical small town diner from the outside but the food & drink options are anything but small down. A great variety of bugers to upscale dinner options. Enjoyed the drink options, especially the martinis.
Great food and service
We had the best night. Our server was one of the best we’ve ever had. Thanks Jakers
Waitress was a doll ! Terrific service . Great meal .
I’m not sure. We felt it was not as formal as Idaho Falls. We went there for an anniversary.
The server we had was really nice but didn’t check in with us as often as I felt she should. We told her initially we needed just another minute to look over the menu and it felt like we waited for a while before she came back to take our order. Most of the food was pretty good. The coconut shrimp was a bit too greasy. It needed to be drained from the grease and could have been crispier. Other than that our experience was good.
We love Jakers! Quality food and service!
Arrived and was told did not have a reservation. Was sat on other side of Bar, which it is always cold out there.
The food and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I had mentioned our event was to be a birthday but it was never mentioned by the Server so there was no discount on that meal. I decided it wasn't worth having to redo the ticket because some of our party was already leaving.
You can walk in and get a table or booth; Open Table reservations not needed.
Overpriced. A $16 salad should not have black avacodos. The prime rib was fatty. The brisket was cooked more like a pot roast. Our waitress was very nice but the food is definitely not worth the money.
We had a great server, the food was delicious and it wasn't so loud that you couldn't hear each other talk.
The food was very good and presentation was excellent. I liked the large variety of food on the menu. We will differently be back to sample other type of food .
