Always a very nice place to eat.
Our waitress was wonderful. She is to be commended for her amazing attitude. There was nothing on this tiny menu was exciting So I knew I could always get your great tomato soup. Nothing. So I settled for a house salad. My husband ordered fish and chips. So overpriced. And nothing like what you used to sell. Our 4th time to Jakers this year. No desire to return. We git our dessert to go. And left to share with family.
We got there and our reservation wasn't even on the list. We didn't really want to sit in the lounge part, that's why I made a reservation in the first place, but that's where we had to sit. What's the point of making a reservation if the requests and so forth never make it to the staff. It was supposed to be a special occasion, but we kinda got screwed of that, even though we rushed from out of town to make it on time. Not thrilled about that.
Jakers is a great dining experience in Great Falls. The food was the best that we had in Montana. The steak was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and professional which is a rarity these days. I heartily recommend dining here when in the area.
We had a very pleasant evening. The meal was very good 4.5/5.0.
As good as everything was - the white chocolate brownie was incredible! - it was Jordon, who waited on us, who really pushed the evening to a 5+! She was attentive, engaging, and friendly. Leaving a 30% tip for her almost seemed too low.
We enjoyed our experience at Jakers and plan to tell others about it. (Though we live in the Philadelphia area, so I'm not sure how many of our friends will make it out there.)
Returning to Great Falls after many years, it was wonderful to enjoy a delicious meal with good service!
Always awesome. Friendly staff always great food. We've been going to jakers for almost ten years. We would never go anywhere else for our anniversary.
Thete was a good atmosphere in the lounge. It was pleasant and not noisy at all. The service was good for how many tables she had. She always asked how everything was going.
Very marginal dinner, potatoes were cold, butter wouldn’t even melt. My fish was very dry. No Coke?? Not the Jaker’s we are used to. Sorry
Excellent service and very good food. Menu was limited as it was the restaurants last night prior to closing due to COVID 19. Still open for take-out!!
Excellent food service and Atmosphere. Our server was Emily- she was Fantastic! The venue was very busy, but till quiet enough to hold pleasant conversation. Will go again when the opportunity comes.
Great service by Susan. The Moscow Mule Huckleberry was watery and I could barely taste the huckleberry. Food was superb!
The food was delicious and our server was excellent. Food was served as quickly as possible with a full house. Overall experience was outstanding!!!
Our server named Will was excellent, as was the food. Minimal wait time after food order was placed.
Overall everything was awesome!
The food was great. We were in a nice quite spot to celebrate my father's birthday. The real only complaint was that there gratuity added to our bill when there should not have been. They were happy to fix it, but it took almost 1/2 for that to happen and it was obvious that the waitress was not happy about it when she returned our tickets. That was a bit irritating.
Great food, including the soup and salad bar, great people, as long as you are willing to pay the money!
It was very easy to make the reservation on line. The follow-up of the reservation was great. We arrived early and was seated promptly. Our server, Jordan, was excellent. She was prompt, attentive and caring that we were enjoying our 57th Anniversary dinner. The food was more than we could finish and was excellent. We want to commend Jordan for making our celebration one that we'll remember.
I always love coming to Jakers.Always Great Service and food.I love the salad bar because its a meal by itself.Looking forward to my next visit.
It was an enjoyable evening. Our waitress was great and service was fast. Food delicious.
Always looked forward to their French Onion Soup.. With a heavy heart I have to say, they no longer offer it..
The food was terrible!!! My steak was supposed to be medium well and it came out like a hockey puck! The salad bar was ok but not really worth the extra charge
Had a small bachelorette party dinner with 6 ladies. Fun night. Great food. Awesome service. Will def go back.
Rick, our waiter was amazing.
The food was alright, not the best, we expect more especially when considering the price.
Food was decent and met our expectations. Unfortunately service was slow and inconsistent. The server was pleasant, but seemed like she was being asked to cover too many tables.
Also, it would be awesome if your waitstaff could speak intelligently about what wine and beer you have available. Ridiculously squinting at the bar’s tap handles from across the restaurant without being able to answer simple questions about taste or style is absurd in this style of restaurant.
Additionally, if I go through the trouble of making a reservation several days in advance do me the courtesy of not seating me within the highest traffic portion of your restaurant at an uncomfortable table. Realize I put some thought in to this evening and maybe your host/hostesses could do the same.
It was not our first visit. My in-laws eat there regularly. None of us enjoyed the food, but the server was fantastic. She was very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable about the menu. Stuffed mushrooms were runny. The chicken was way over breaded and the sauce was excessive. The teriyaki sauce had way too much salt and soy sauce. Even the shrimp was not up to par from previous visits. Not sure if it was a new chef, or the suppliers are different, but very disappointing.
I was so taken back that the restaurant would not accept a USD prepaid credit card for payment. We are Canadians so the prepaid credit cards are what we use. We had to empty our pockets of all our US cash to pay the bill. Note also that the credit card is legal tender and in good standing. It appeared they just did not want to honor it as payment.
We were in town passing through Great Falls and wanted to find a nice spot for dinner. This was it. The food was excellent. Drinks were perfect. Service was impeccable. Our waitress Morgan was attentive but did not hover. Dessert was out of this world. If you are in Great Falla, do not miss this restaurant. !!!
We had company visiting and also went out for both my son’s birthday and his girlfriend’s birthday. It took awhile to get our biscuits and also our food, but they were busy because it was a Friday night.
Server left me holding my entree in my hands because there was no room on the table for the plate. Food greasy and over salted. Servers carried both dirty dishes and fresh food at the same time/didn’t use trays. Brought all courses at the same time. Only 1 of the 5 of us could eat our supper. Poor experience- will never go back.
Food was good but the service was AMAZING!! Thank you
It was fine food was ok service was good
Food was great and service was excellent. Nice, casual restaurant.
Date night w husband. Food was excellent!
The server we had was delightful. T-Sue???
Our reservation was at 6:30 on a Thursday. We came specifically to have prime rib. You did not have any. We ordered brisket. You did not have any
We had Alaskan King Crab for our anniversary. I recommend if you get that, you either share with a friend or have a very large appetite. It was delicious.
Food arrived as ordered, hot, and visually appealing. Wait staff was friendly and professional. The area was clean, organized, and inviting. All in all, a good meal.
It was good, but the waitress did not clear the plates. We barely had enough room for the current plate.
Mikel and Julia were the best waiter and waitress in the world. Had great suggestions for wine (merlot) and appetizer (Dragon Tails). I decided on your Creme Brulee for dessert. Absolutely delicious. Everything was nicely presented. The facility appeared clean and well-taken-care-of. Staff looked professional in their tucked back hair, white/black smocks, dark slacks, and ever-present smiles. I plan to return in the future to explore the salad bar and other menu options.
Prime Rib was too salty to eat.
Seafood linguini has no flavor just butter and noodles with obviously frozen seafood.
Service was excellent.
Prices are high for this town.
