We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant, the pear and quince soup was outstanding. Oh and the homemade bread, and variety of perfectly cooked vegatables Our waitress was great, friendly and attentive Would we go back?....absolutely

I rate this food on the level of Langton Hall cuisine. The only thing that was distracting is the level of noise. We were unable to hear our family members that sat on the other side of the table. Service was excellent and the cost was reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It's not about decor at jake and humphries. You go for great fresh food and once you go, you will return. It is comfortable, quiet enough even when all tables are filled, that you can still have a conversation. And some of the conversation will be about how great the food is.

The food was very well presented! The only complaint was it is a very small dining room, and there was a large group there so it was very noisy! Unable to talk with my Daughter and her Husband.

Wonderful restaurant in a cozy house. The main courses were excellent and the dessert was divine. Great restaurant in the downtown area of New Hamburg.

This was my second visit to Jake and Humphrey's, and it was just as fine as the first visit. The food is delicious and is presented with a beautiful array of colour, provided by the vegetables. Everything was cooked to perfection.
