Nestled into a cobblestone square just off Austin Street, Jade Eatery & Lounges’ address hints at why Jade is said to be “Forest Hills hidden gem”. The space integrates a zen-like atmosphere with inspirational quotes that adorn the walls and a serene koi pond presenting a large Buddha statue smiling benevolently on guests guiding them to a choice entree.

Our philosophy was to combine music, aroma and aesthetics to capture a unique gastronomic experience hence our motto “Indulge Your Senses”.
As a neighborhood Asian restaurant catering to local and visiting patrons we strive to maintain quality and consistency. Our concept provides favorite Pan-Asian and southeast Asian dishes as well as creative culinary innovations that have become neighborhood favorites. With signature dishes like Sushi Pizza and Calcutta Chicken, our group focuses on optimizing select ingredients and transforms them into exotic flavor profiles. Overall experience was good! Due to the weather it was fairly empty. Drink was good and food was good! My only thing is, after receiving our food, our waitress never came back and checked on us. We wanted to order an other drink but she never checked on us. I had to get the attention of an another waiter and at that point, we just wanted to pay and leave.

Restaurant atmosphere was great. Food was delicious. DJ/ Vibe was cool. The only problem I had was the server wasn’t very attentive and hardly ever checked in to see if we needed anything. The prices are reasonable… Food was very flavorful!! Oh and last but not least the drinks were really good!

Came here with my wife to enjoy the lunch special. We have been here many times but it was the first time we were rushed with 2 appetizers and entree almost at the same time. When my wife told the server to hold the dessert they brought it out 4 minutes later. The restaurant was empty so she didn’t like the experience. Hope next time we go we don’t get rushed but everything else is excellent.

HORRIBLE STAFF. We made a reservation and as soon as we got there, the host who has a terrible and unprofessional attitude told us immediately that we cannot be sitted ‘til all parties are present — mind you, it was less than 5 minutes before our reserved time and 3 out of 4 were there already. Of course, we understood and waited. All parties arrived and we were directed to our table. Our table was literally in front of the entrance door that was left open & it was cold out so obviously, we were feeling the breeze. Uncomfortable to have a great time because it was freezing cold — also made our food cold. We then requested to be transferred to a different table where we can actually enjoy our food and not feel the cold wind. Of course the host gave us a problem AGAIN and was not even giving her name when I asked for it. Called whoever (maybe the manager/owner who also has a disgusting attitude). Our server took the initiative to move us after a long time of waiting BUT we were rushed to leave IF we do not order more. Not only that we have to order more but we had to finish our food quick because of the “policy” they have for a limited time seating. I understand the timed seating however given the circumstances, the run arounds, the wait time, the disrespect, no flexibility was given to us despite their inability to handle a busy time. I will not recommend this place as the staff has a very unpleasant attitude towards their customer. Their acts did not align with the feel of the area. They made our experience feel awful, cheap and dreadful. Do not work in customer service business if you do not know how to be pleasant.

Jade never disappoints me. I wanted to get together with a few friends, and most of them said that the food, drinks, and music were amazing.

Though we had an expected wait what whet seemed to be an inexperienced hostess (particularly for such a large restaurant), the rest of the night was great! Our server Yong was lovely and knew the menu well! Helped us with decisions and everything worked! Poke & kai chi were a great pairing - both truly yummy! Entrees were also great, we had the basil chicken, Thai beef, Mongolian beef - Thai beef is on the sweeter side, but still all good! Careful with the buy 1; get 1 Rita’s! Surprisingly strong, but yummy! Yong also suggested the lava cake for dessert. Standard stuff, but still tasty! Lots of bdays and groups, good background music, lighting, etc. for a good night out with friends, I recommend.

The staff is very busy but pleasant. The turn around time from when you order until you get your food was quick. The food was delicious!
