Food for brunch was delicious. I want to go again and try other items on menu and sit outside.
Lovely place! Excellent service (:
The food, and especially the appetizers, is always good. Drinks are nice. Ambiance is fair. The picnic tables are really uncomfortable for sitting for more than a few minutes. Our server seemed to be having a bad day.
Great brunch! They have a great selection of brunch options and some great sparkling wine. I enjoy this place. A little pricey but great quality
Amazing food and service
Everything was great and we were very happy with the overall experience. The only issue was that we waited 20 minutes to be greeted after being sat. I had to get the attention of a server to let them know we were there. After they were aware they made up for it and the service was great.
Burger and strawberry cake was awesome.
Wife had Beef Carpaccio - was so so. Absolutely should not be an entree, should be an appetizer. Very disappointed with the Beef Carpaccio
There was no other parking available than valet ( we were not prepared with cash for valet). Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Felt like everything was missing spice. Ordered a mimosa after our entrees arrived. It was served after we had the final check on the table. Server didn’t understand why I didn’t want it anymore. They ended up taking it off my check together with our starter which was nice, however altogether it didn’t make our dining experience better. We felt neglected, most of the time different people were “checking “ on us and nobody had an idea what we ordered and what actually we received. Manager was looking for a car parking the wrong space and came back multiple times to ask if it was us (impossible as we were forced to valet). Overall it wasn’t awful but also not good enough to ever go back.
Great food and great service! The stuffed rolls appetizer is amazing! Excellent market choices and we all loved the mac and cheese. Our waitress was friendly and efficient! We’ll be back.
Thought the ambiance was great and outdoors was so nice! We got the crab cakes though and it was not great :(
Always love my meals at Jacoby’s!
We visited Jacoby’s for a little Valentine’s Day brunch. It was our first visit and we’ll definitely be back. Our food was great, the service was fantastic and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming.
Great atmosphere. Great food. Service was a little slow. Overall we had a good time. We will go back.
This meal was excellent! The tables by the water are the best. Great service, amazing drinks and food. We went for brunch and I can't wait to go back for dinner! Great for having family in town.
Love the atmosphere there and the outdoor seating area. Perfect for a brunch with friends!
Great atmosphere and food. Mac and cheese is a must!
The food and the service were excellent. I would recommend that they update their reservations to include whether you are sitting indoor or outdoors. We did not know that we were sitting in the outdoor space because there was no where that said indoor or outdoor when making the reservation. It’s very deceiving and when you don’t want to sit outside in the cold and eat your food, we would’ve made other arrangements. However they did make the outdoor seating warm and accommodating.
Food was incredible. Anything that ultilizes their baking prowess in the dish is top notch. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic; but not for the gravy (as is the case in most places), it was the biscuits. Holy mama it was good! Same for the crab cake benedict. The crab cake was decent for sure, but the home made English muffin was awesome. We also had the chicken fried steak and waffles which were good. The steak was super fatty so if they had used a slightly leaner cut it would've been leaps and bounds better. The waffles were as good as could be; honestly, the juxtaposition of the chicken fried steak and gravy with the waffle.and maple syrup made this a group favorite, but the cut of beef made this dish lose a lot of points. Overall, this place will be our 'where do you take a picky out-of-towner for brunch' for sure. So glad we finally decided to stop in. Service was good, bloody Mary's were ok and the support staff could use some work but would hold this place up against a lot of places in Austin and feel confident in my decision.
It was my first time there and it was delicious. Highly recommend!
Very enjoyable. Would come back again!
We enjoyed Saturday brunch at Jacoby's and it was wonderful. A great selection of menu items for all tastes and dietary needs and everything was delicious, especially the biscuits. The server was warm, friendly, and efficient. Jacoby's setting overlooking the river is so peaceful!
Huge fan! Jacoby's is high on my list in Austin. We had great service, delicious food, and Covid-safe outdoor spaced table. Can't wait to come back.
A lot of buck for not much bang. The ambience was adorable- rustic, shabby sheek meets desert picnic. Small details enhance the experience; artsy utensils and mason jars in place of champagne flutes. The service was superb, but oh...oh dear, the food was not on par with the price. Over $20 for two poached eggs in a BBQ stir fry sauce, heavy on onions and peppers, with non-existent bits of beef. My friend’s migas were very tasty, but even still, not worth the $18 price tag IMO. I’m willing to give this little restaurant another chance to redeem itself and I plan on trying dinner there. Sadly, brunch was disappointing.
Delicious and LOVED the distanced outdoor seating over the water. Staff were a delight!
Beautiful spot on the river. Excellent for high-end, outdoor dining while social distancing. Service was exceptional.
We loved that they had different vegan dishes to offer, food was amazing , and the environment was great!
Was a great time. And I'd love to check it out during the spring.
Nice ambiance, great service, and the food was awesome. Wednesday Happy Hour service did great!
It was great. Great service and great food. Loved eating by the water.
Best Mac n cheese in austin!
Get the biscuit! So delicious. Would definitely go back for brunch!
Locally sourced chef prepared food. The pimento cheese appetizer and the chicken fried steak entree were delicious. The waitress wasn't good at explaining the menu. Our drinks arrived after we finished our appetizer. The restaurant has rustic decor. The outdoor seating, at picnic tables ans under a canopy, is underwhelming for the price.
Great ambiance super staff and definitely will return!
Chicken migas were not good at all. Well prepared but those flavors didn’t go well together. Bacon, biscuits and gravy, and coffee were nice. Great vibe.
Great meal. Excellent service from Molly our waitress.
Food and Drinks are overpriced. There are not many places in Austin I can say this about, having lived here all my life. Born and raised. You are located on east Cesar Chavez not Vegas. You should defiantly rethink you demographic. The price for brunch fare caused you to lose customers, nothing else.
So delicious. Get the grits!!! 🤤 omg heaven. The service is fantastic and the place overall is so cute!!
Great outdoor space! Right on the river. Service was excellent. Drinks were tasty. We went for brunch and the food was incredible. The homemade cornbread, biscuits, sausage, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese... all so good and clearly scratch made. Amazing spot! Definitely worth checking out.
Good overall experience. We ate on the patio and it was warm despite cooler weather. We were concerned about parking ahead of time but found out that valet parking is provided, you just have to tip. The meal and drinks were on the pricier side for what you get but it was a good place for our group celebration.
Our server was wonderful. Drinks on point. But the Brussels sprouts OMFG put them in your mouth now!
