We've been several times and always enjoyed ourselves. This was the first time our service was terrible. Our waiter never came around, didn't refill our drinks once and we had to ask for check. Aside from that, food was great.
Everything was amazing and I would 1000% be back but just be aware due to social distancing you might be seated outside at a picnic table in the parking lot.
Although we appreciate the difficulty in finding people willing to work right now, our server provided very poor service. He claimed not to know about their happy hour specials which are advertised and came to our table once in the first 25 minutes. Additionally, we were sat at a picnic table on their concrete parking lot and then were bombarded with a ridiculous amount of flies while trying to eat our $35 entrees which we ended up abandoning after the large amount of flies.
While I understand that restaurants have struggled this past year, I also can't in good conscious spend the amount of money we did for a nice dinner out for a less than appealing experience.
Always a great time at Jacobys. Food is delicious, cool place to be, and the people are nice.
Jacoby’s was absolutely amazing. We went for the Wednesday all day happy hour and it was a DEAL! Some of our favorites from the menu were the yeast rolls (with BARBECUE INSIDE-YUM), the Mac and cheese add bacon, and last but definitely not least the best strawberry cake I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely be back. Such a great experience!
Huge portions, delicious food and drinks, outstanding service
Great outdoor ambiance and wonderful view of the Colorado river. Food was pretty good for me - chicken fried steak (under seasoned) and waffles. Those who ordered the smoked chicken migas said they were awesome.
Very timely and good service, food was fantastic with the portion sizes a little too large if anything. Highly recommend the beef hash.
Park bench seating, ok service and steaks far overrated. We were served copious amounts of gravy on a 40 percent fat New York steak from a camping plate for $55 while a guy blew vape from the table behind us. We were told to come back and try a different cow by management. How about you have quality of standards for what you chose to serve your customers. Can’t make this stuff up. Save your money.
The food was really bad and not what I have come to expect from jacobys. I didn’t feel well after eating there. The service was extremely stand-off ish from the hostess table to the actual server. The woman at the front didn’t acknowledge us at all until another woman came to the front and asked if we had been helped. The server seemed annoyed and didn’t come to the table much for water, food, or to bring the check. I have eaten here many times and this time everything was wrong. I felt like it was a waste of my money and was embarrassed I brought friends from out of town to join.
10 out of 10
We really liked Jacoby’s. The food was excellent. All was terrific except the flies. Lots of annoying flies. I recommend they put half a lemon spiked with cloves on each table. It works to keep flies away and looks nice enough. Or put planters everywhere with lemongrass or parsley or citronella around each table. But I will definitely go again. Food was delicious. Staff super friendly.
Magical night on the beautiful back patio. Plenty of space to spread out and the food was delicious. The Strawberry cake for dessert was epic.
We had an awesome time at Jacoby's. Staff is great, atmosphere and scenery is beautiful, and food is delicious! Would definitely recommend.
Excellent steaks in an upscale but relaxed location.
Mediocre at best. The steak tasted like a decent room service ribeye and the chicken fried steak was fully lacking, a complete disappointment. We will not be back.
We went on Wednesday night and enjoyed the happy hour specials to try a bunch of dishes! They were all delicious - try the bone marrow baguette. Really wonderful night and excellent service.
Amazing food. Fantastic wait staff. Highly recommend!
Manager was awful and completely rude.
We had a fantastic experience at Jacoby's for Sunday brunch on our anniversary. Our waitress recommended we try the beef, and she was definitely not wrong. Can't wait to go back again.
The waitress consistently rushed us. Wanted us to order appetizers right away with our drinks, and then wanted us to order dinner with our appetizers. The food was good, but definitely overpriced for what we got. Overall a decent experience, but not up to the level of hype.
Overall good food but nothing I’m dying to have again.
We had a great experience. One of the steaks was overcooked and they immediately replaced it. Great Ambience for celebrating college graduation!
Enjoyed it. Great server.
Went for my husband’s birthday dinner, food is delicious and restaurant is super nice. Will go back!
Everything about Jacobys is fabulous! I can not say enough you just make your reservation and go. You’ll be very glad you did.
One of the few Austin restaurants that do not outright cater to dogs and baby strollers. If this is what you seek, this is where to go. We loved it!
Have loved Jacoby’s in past but food this time was not good....cheeseburger and carpaccio particularly. Lots of flies were also a problem.
Love brunch at Jacoby's! I've had the beef hash and the pecan pancakes. Both were excellent. The wait staff is always knowledgeable and helpful. Parking is a bit hectic, but it doesn't keep me from coming back.
Had friends in town visiting, Jacoby’s is always our go to for visitors!
I absolutely love Jacoby’s! I would recommend to anyone who loves farm to table, rustic atmosphere, and amazing service! I would highly recommend the strawberry cake!
Birthday dinner! Amazing strawberry cake!!
Patio can’t be beat! Very elegant and casual at the same time.
Wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch!
Great ambiance, mostly outdoor patio seating. Good vegetarian options as well as the meat focus.
Had family in town Mother’s Day weekend and went to Jacoby’s for dinner. Everyone loved it. Food was great. Ambiance sitting outside with the light was perfect. The strawberry cake is a must!
Always enjoy Jacoby’s!!
Great place and the outdoor dining is the only way to go. Sitting next to the river is great. All the food was outstanding and the service is great. Liquor selection is a bit thin, didn't have anything of the basic liquors, wines or beers any of us drink. They had others, but it was a bit of a turn off.
I usually love Jacoby's but we ate on a sticky bench. Server was friendly and attentive but never heard of any of the drinks we asked her about. There were plenty of tables around but for some reason we were seated on a sticky picnic table. The steak was just okay. The mac and cheese was great as always.
Absolutely amazing food on a beautiful patio! Highly recommend the beef carpaccio appetizer, it was fabulous.
