Thank you for your interest in Jackson’s Bistro Bar & Sushi for your event! Jackson’s Bistro is a waterfront restaurant with a great view of Tampa Bay and Downtown Tampa. We have space available for groups of any size, from ten people to over 500!
View Private Dining DetailsWait staff was disorganized. We sat for 40 mins before asking hostess where the server was. Once served very long periods of no one checking on us as well as delivering the check.
Food is overrated & not worth the price.
Really appreciate the ambiance
Good staff
Birthday brunch. Was noisy but the food was good
I was quite disappointed in my most recent brunch at Jackson's. I have been a few times and this experience was rather underwhelming and disappointing. Almost everything on the buffet (if you order from the action stations you are good) was not the right temperature. French toast, waffles, scrambled eggs all colder than you would have hoped for. The smoked salmon and peel and eat shrimp are delicious because they are intended to be cold. The biggest concern I had was the amount of flies on the cupcakes. The buffet is not set up outside but people are often coming in and out so I expect a fly or two but the whole top tier of cupcakes were covered in flies. Not the way you hope to end your meal!
My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary with our dinner at Jacksons! It was a nice atmosphere and service from Juoquin was amazing.
Our overall experience was just above average. Surprised by the number of children. Our server was too busy to give us excellent service. The food was good but nothing exceptional and too busy to sit outside for the view.

Birthday and new job celebration . Food was tasty , ambiance was great ! Will definitely return!
Food and service was just ok. Food is maybe a 6/10.
Beautiful view. Food always good with many menu options. Worth it for the scenic spot with the excuisite sunsets. Doesn’t disappoint.
I enjoyed my meal along with the scenery. I would dine at this establishment again.
Sitting at table with the public constantly walking next to you... view great...but, annoying being constantly passed by.
Sushi was no where as good as could be... it was average...
First date. Jackson’s made me look good! Great food great service.
Friends were in town and we went to Jackson's for dinner. Had reservation but ended up sitting in bar area outside. Great meals for all four of us and a view that couldn't be beaten! Outstanding waitress a swell. All around great!
Great meal. Sat outdoors. Great views. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We went to enjoy a family Sunday brunch. I have been to Jackson's previously but after this experience will not be coming back. They serve a brunch buffet on Sundays, most of the selections were empty and not getting refilled. French toast, fruit, croissants, smoked salmon, sushi and desserts were empty or almost empty the whole time. When we asked the server for more strawberries (we made a couple of trips and could not get any) we were told they completely ran out. It felt like hunting for food instead of enjoying a nice meal. Very disappointing! I would recommend Oystercatchers in Tampa or 400 Beach in St.Pete instead.
The Sunday brunch was good. Seafood lovers will enjoy it tremendously. Turkey was great. I enjoyed the breakfast foods and dessert. Wish prime rib was at the carving station. Overall, great ambiance on the patio overlooking the bay.
We had a great experience. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. A wide variety of selections and great ambiance.
Food was good and sitting outside is always fun. Service was quick.
This is a Great restaurant, and great view!!! Great for any occasion.
Loved it! Great service and super food! Hope to be back!
Hostess was great, she greeted us with a smile and complimented our appearance which was really sweet. The Waiter was not however. Didn’t get a list of the specials. Wasn’t very friendly. No acknowledgement of my date’s birthday after it was made clear on the reservation. Wouldn’t come back for a special occasion like this again. Now I have to find a way to make this up to my date. Very disappointing evening.
Had a wonderful time
Enjoyed the sushi, especially the tempura grouper roll. Portions are generous and easily can be shared. Sitting outside on the water was especially nice as the sun set.
We stopped at Jackson's Bistro for lunch, after picking up a friend from the airport. We got a great table on the patio.
Service was very good. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the food. My friend ad I ordered from the Sushi menu, and it was great. Very fresh and beautifully presented. My husband had a shrimp pasta dish which he loved.
The location is lovely. I do not think you could choose a better place to go with friends or family.
I enjoyed the macadamia crusted sword fish and it was to die for...I can't wait to return and go back there. The Peanut Butter Mouse dessert was very decadent and a sure winner. All my business guest (8) enjoyed everything they ordered and service went off without a hitch never had to chase down my server for anything wanting. Scott our server was a true professional. Thank you for making my dining experience with my overseas guest very enjoyable.
This restaurant was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious, the server very friendly and the view amazing.
The sushi was decent, we asked for extra spicy and they put extra jalapeños on the rolls which was nice. We also ordered fried calamari and it came out cold TWICE. The service was very pleasant but SLOW! The view (right in the water with lots of seating there) and ambience (do) was in keeping with a nice vacation out.
My plane was late, they accommodated without issue, adjusting my reservation by over an hour, and asked about my trip! Everyone was very pleasant and courteous, the sushi was amazing (the whole reason I selected this for my first meal in Tampa)! Both the Nigiri pieces and the rolls were fantastic, as flavorful as I've had anywhere else in the country. The structure of the Nigiri was just a little bit lacking, but that didn't affect the flavor in the slightest! Absolutely fantastic! Tiramisu doesn't really go with sushi, but it's a weakness of mine, so I ordered it anyway...heavenly. Light & creamy, with a little side of blueberries and fresh whip, it was amazing. My only complaint is that my schedule didn't allow me to come back again!
Such an amazing restaurant! Superb food, outstanding service and an atmosphere that makes for the perfect ending to your day.
Great view, great food, great service. Very happy.
Wonderful! Excellent views and food.
I would NOT go back again. My husband and I love fine dining and after spending 120.00 for 2 steaks for dinner we were very disappointed, our steaks (med. rare and med.) were over cooked twice! IF we go back it will be for brunch....I have asked several coworkers about this place (I'm new to the area) and they all said the food is mediocre and that they have only been once and they haven't been back.... the all recommended that I go to American bar which is the restaurant next door. Hopefully I can save someone from wasting their money....
We love it here. It's one of our top 5 favorite restaurants. Service is always top notch as well.
We had brunch celebrating my son's Birthday. Our server Nick was AWESOME! He went above and beyond to accommodate our group of 7. We had a great view of the bay. The brunch had a wide selection from sushi to Brisket and from breakfast to lunch; something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters!
Great variety on Sunday brunch!
The view is awesome. Food was good. Service was mediocre.
Not my best visit here. Absolutely love the macadamia crusted swordfish. This did not disappoint. Also, outstanding coconut shrimp for an appetizer. The edamame we ordered was fine, but whisked off the table before we had finished it! Waiter didn't even ask. Cocktails were a disappointment. I guess every bartender is different, but I usually get outstanding drinks here, but this time that was not the case. Friend got a salad with shrimp, upcharge of $7.00 to add shrimp and she got 4. She was not happy. The steak special with Scallops was ok. Other friend like the two scallops wrapped in bacon, but the steak was heavily charred, which we both disliked.
Some of the inside seating tables are a little to close. We had a guy sitting at a table next to us who kept staring at the “view” but it felt like he was breathing on our necks. Food was amazing!!
What a wonderful view and the food was excellent. Our server was extremely busy, however, and it took her awhile to get around to her tables. I don’t think this was her fault at all, just looked to be understaffed. Great overall experience, however.
The food was superb. The service was top notch thanks to our waiter Frankie.
