Service was slow.
Outside patio was pleasant - inside could use a refresh.
Last minute dinner outing with friend from Parrish Florida and My young son. Was very surprised at the service and quality of food. Our server Justin was very attentive and knowledgeable. I will definitely repeat.
single worst dining experience I have had in 40 years of dining out. Waiter/cook forgot about our order. Waited almost an hour and then we finally left. Manager was apologetic, but clearly is not on top of his staff nor is there any commitment to excellence (or even mediocrity) at this restaurant. Everyone should be fired by ownership. Embarrass.
Food was awful
The Sunday Brunch options were wonderful and lots of variety. The service was excellent.
Fantastic as always.
Our waitress was fantastic! It’s been a long time since I’ve had “fantastic” service at a restaurant. Excellent service makes for a great dining experience. Two thumbs up.
It was amazing! The food, atmosphere, and service all exceeded expectations.
Restaurant was awesome bartenders are very friendly and the prices at bar was ok. The food really good but overpriced.
This was my third visit. Each time the service was knowledgeable friendly and prompt.
The food each time was exc.
Quickly seated with reservation. Nice outdoor vibe. Next time I would choose not to be seated so close to the bridge/roadway. Noisy traffic can take away from ambience. Overall good food and waiter was very friendly and attentive.
Excellent service. Dined outdoors. Beautiful
Excellent dinner and cocktails on their deck overlooking the water. Especially attentive and fun wait staff who went the extra mile to offer suggestions in anticipation that we might be interested. Stopped there for a few evenings for nightcaps and found the same great service.
Food was nothing special, but the view and the service were dazzling. Not expensive.
My first time trying sushi and it was extravagant and in the Ambiance was amazing
I came here on a business trip to reconnect with an old colleague. We were seated at a table on the patio. The view was incredible. We started with calamari and a sushi roll. The calamari was drizzled with a sweet Thai chili sauce and spicy mayo on the side. My favorite was the Tokyo roll!! I ordered the red snapper with jumbo scallops. The dish was alright, but I definitely preferred my colleague’s meal. She ordered the lobster carbonara. The name speaks for itself. It was creamy and it had huge chunks of lobster/bacon in it 😍. Service was EXCELLENT.
Awesome Sunday brunch! Can't wait to go back and sit outside before it gets too hot!
We were celebrating my wife’s 70th Birthday.
We brought out of town family for Brunch.
Our waiter Sequoia was OUTSTANDING...
From the Food, Service, did I Say food, perfect perfect perfect. Will definitely go back for a Sunday leisurely afternoon brunch
It was a very nice area, and the key lime pie was delicious. We really loved the whole place.
This is my 3rd time to Jackson's and it gets better and better with each visit. I love it here and will continue to go back. I recommend the Pork Chop!
Perfect for sitting outside in beautiful weather. Service good, food ok. Wouldn't choose without view.
Usually you accept mediocrity when a place has a spectacular view. In this case you do not have to compromise. We requested outside dining and received a pretty good table with a view of the water. We had cocktails which we good, apps - French onion soup and a lobster roll, both were great. I had the seared tuna and it was perfect. Would go back, everything was right.
Was pretty disappointed with the sushi selections, and the price for these selections. So both my date and I opted for pastas. He had the seafood scampi which came out with the tails on the shrimp still, automatic downgrade. I had the chicken penne. All was good until I got a piece of super chewy chicken that completely ruined my appetite. Thought the alcohol prices were pretty expensive too. Best thing about the whole meal was the bread and pesto-balsamic dip.
Jackson's Bistro was an excellent choice for our dinner. The food was superb, the ambiance with our table outside overlooking the water was great and the phenomenal service provided by our waiter Edmund was the making for a very special evening. You can definitely celebrate something special at Jackson's Bistro.
Went to Jackson with friends because it was a beautiful warm night. We sat on the patio, had wine and crab cakes and it was lovely. Crab cakes were fantastic! Great night.
Great typical convention area tourist trap.
Waterfront dining was very nice, but the restrooms were a disaster. Very dirty, no toilet paper, and garbage everywhere.
Enjoyed sitting outside on a beautiful evening. Service unfortunately was not good. After 30 mins we had water but wine order still not out. At that point the table next to us was having service issues as well. We called manager over who said he would take care of it...as a result, one glass arrived without the other. Our meals were very good. We enjoyed and will give them another try. Perhaps just an off night Manager offered us a dessert to share. Haha. We asked if he could just put the offer towards our drinks, so one glass of wine was complimentary. Good thing the view was spectacular.
Great service. Our companions were late in arriving and we were never rushed. Perfect waterfront location. Food was excellent .
Excellent food and service provided by Jared.
Met some friends for an absolutely lovely lunch!
I loved the relaxed feel of Jackson’s...the view was perfect....waitstaff and food both on point...a last minute decision I’m happy to have made and look forward to going back again when I visit the Tampa area!
It was my first time at Jackson's and although the view is beautiful I was not impressed. My table wasn't clean upon being seated. I would only return if someone were having a special function.
The Caesar salad and Sexy Ben Roll were out of this world. Fantastic.
I enjoyed my meal at Jackson's although the service was slow and our server, although efficient, was not particularly warm or friendly. However, the food was wonderful.
The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the service our server (Joaquin) provided was excellent!
Occasion was dinner before theatre and belated valentines celebration . We had a reservation and had requested outdoor table but none available under covered area so we were put back outside by window but lots of foot traffic constantly walking passed us so sadly spoiled the ambience of our belated Valentines dinner. But our server Rocky was excellent and the food was excellent as always and although pricey unusually large portions neither of us were able to finish our entrees and we had no appetizer or salad. So the food and service somewhat made up for the ambience we had hoped for.
Have been to Jackson's several time on prior visits to Tampa - this was the first time I have been disappointed. Sushi was good as usual but regular food items off the menu didn't "pop" as in prior visits, just ok.
Our server was terrible - maybe that's what reflected negatively on the food. Had to bus our table ourselves twice to get rid of dirty dishes and glassware. Will probably go back just because of location but will eat at bar.
