To start out, the main restaurant area was mostly empty. There were maybe 8 other people in the area. There was a side room that was mostly full.

After being seated for 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us, I had to find a waitor to help us out. He took our beverages order, and they were received quickly. Food was ordered, and received somewhat quickly. My friend ordered a quiche and it was cold. She asked for it to be warmed up. It was, but it took 10 minutes and was delivered by a very sweet waitress who was very apologetic. However, the quiche was lukewarm at best. She checked on us a couple times, whereas our waiter checked on us once.

Overall, it is a nice place. This was my second visit and the service both times was subpar. My food order was good; the quiche wasn't so good. The green juice was enjoyed by both of us. In a town with so many great food choices, this was very mediocre.

The brunch is amazing. There are some very special items such as the savory waffle, or red flannel hash. However if you prefer a more traditional breakfast the flapjacks are fluffy and delicious. One of the best parts is that we can get in without in one of those horrible brunch lines you find at most spots on the weekend. The service is always on point. It is great for a group of friends to celebrate a special occasion or some place to go have a low key brunch on your own.

Food was good, but service was lacking. We went a couple 15-minute stretches without seeing our waitress at all. For the price, expected more attention.

My partner and I visited Jackrabbit to celebrate our anniversary and an early Valentine’s day. They were able to accommodate us earlier than our 5:30pm reservation.

Drink-wise, my partner ordered Fallen Roses, which she was very happy about. I took a sip and it was very good. Highly recommend.

We ordered the delicious Delicata Squash Salad, which we shared. For the “Suppers”, we ordered the Bertha Roasted Chicken and Bacon Chop. Both VERY well portioned and delicious.

Service was very friendly and attentive. We did not catch our server’s name, but she was very attentive and friendly and very knowledgable of the menu, food and drink.

I would highly recommend Jackrabbit if you are looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion.

In town to visit our college adult kids and took them to dinner. Great place. Everyone that touched our table was amazing. From getting seated to the wine specialist to our server. Oysters are amazing, E I E O Pinot Noir YUM, you need a minimum of 4 people....the Pin Steak to share share is amazing. You cannot go wrong. My only complaint, it was too warm in the restaurant from the minute I walked in. BUT none the less. Must go!!!

Great meal with friends, made EXCELLENT by our waitress! We were there before a show, and as the servings are so large the waitress offered to keep our boxed leftovers for us until after the show so we could come back and pick them up instead of taking them with us to the show. Amazing! We went back after the show, stayed at the bar awhile, and everything worked out so well!

The mediocre brunch doesn’t justify the horrible service. The restaurant was completely out of raw and white sugar packets and our group had to actually problem solve for the server- suggesting she just go to the kitchen. Lo and behold- the kitchen had sugar! (How does a restaurant allow themselves to run out of sugar before brunch service is beyond me.) Server was completely unapologetic- even after she forgot to order my Bloody Mary. Untrained staff aside, the pork schnitzel was really greasy, harissa one note. Dining partner said dirty crispy potatoes were way too salty. Considering what Mr. Cosentino does in SF, this is a horrible representation.

Just had my first dinner at JackRabbit and it was a great overall experience. The food and service were both outstanding. This restaurant really cares about the entire customer experience. The menu is simple but elegant. I had the roasted chicken which wouldn't seem to be something to get excited about, but it was truly excellent. Honestly the best chicken that I've ever had. JackRabbit is upscale but not pretentious and a very good value for the money. It's a super place for a date. I would recommend adding a shareable side dish like the house potatoes to round out your meal.

Our reservation was at 12:15. Food reached the table ~45 minutes later. That makes it difficult return to the office in a timely manner, and therefore raises questions if I can return for week day lunch. Which is a shame as food and server was pretty good otherwise.

Overall not great. Made a reservation ahead of time for two, but we still ended up waiting 20 -
30 min for a table. The overall service from the bar & our server was very poor. We almost left before ordering our meal because it took forever for our server to simply take our drink order & even longer for the drinks to arrive. Food was average. Everything felt rushed & extremely loud. We left as soon as we could.

My wife and I to Jackrabbit for our Anniversary dinner recently and had a good time. I can't say the food was a great value, and thus the reason for the review.

While there, we both had cocktails, several appetizers , and salads to start things off. For dinner, she ordered the Fideo pasta dish, I had the Striploin and we shared the roasted cauliflower as a side. We finished with a grasshopper ganache for dessert. The salad was simple but delicious, and the appetizers were interesting but very small in portion. The pasta dish was very interesting with great flavor, but the portion was small and the plating was unfortunate very uninspired. My Striploin was prepared well with good flavor, and served with fresh sauteed spinach and mushrooms. This was a simple but good dish. The cauliflower was good, but really not much more than the sum of it's parts.

Overall, the service was good and the meal enjoyable, but it we didn't feel the dishes were creative enough to warrant the cost or the small portions. The atmosphere is nice for a hotel restaurant, and we will definitely return for a beer or a cocktail with happy hour oysters.

A special thanks to our server Dana, who was helpful and attentive even on the heels of a very busy New Years Eve.

It took four hours to eat. Wait was so long we were brought pig ears complementary to snack on while we waited for our food. The chicken was not fully cooked. A new order was provided but took about one hour to arrive and was still undercooked. All I drank was water and my glass was refilled once in the four hours after it had been empty for awhile.

Horrible experience!!! Worst 2017 restaurant experience. Food was average to poor. Prices were high; really out of line considering the quality. Staff was aggressively arrogant. Service was slow in general and bar service in particular.

After watching other tables send food back to the kitchen we opted for appetizers rather than risk any of the main courses. Our oysters were just ok though poorly shucked. Ham option was uninspired with little to distinguish one from the other. Deviled eggs were tasteless.

So, 4 people spent $200 for a couple drinks and 3 appetizers. Really disappointed and see no reason to ever return.

This is a good restaurant, food has a lot of flavor. Small mistakes like cold food and poor timing for service, the server is asked to do a lot with very little help. Drinks are ok but I have seen better. This is a one and done visit for me. There is a lot of competition out there and if they don't fix a few things my prediction is this place may not be around in the next couple of years.

I've been to Cockscomb in San Fran and the service and food there were impeccable, too bad I can't say the same for Jack Rabbit. We were there for two hours, had lousy service and my steak was unseasoned and undercooked (rare). I will say that the pig's ears and my husband's trout were delicious. I was just expecting a better experience and ended up leaving very disappointed and hungry.

Our first time here and I was looking forward to trying a new place. I ordered the branzino on the special New Year's menu and did not understand I would be getting the whole fish - not even filleted when served! It also took over 70 minutes to get our food and the restaurant was not full. Our waitress offered to fillet my fish for me, which I agreed to, but there were so many bones left in it that I couldn't eat much at all. I will add that my dates smoked trout was very good so it wasn't all bad.
