I'm never sure about restaurants located inside of hotels, but Jackrabbit came through with flying colors. The menu has some very interesting things and everything we ordered was just superb. The oysters were local and very fresh and served with three different toppings. Appetizers of "3 Little Pigs" and Kale and Hazelnut Salad were both excellent. Pasta entrees of the Rigatoni Bolognese and Papardelle Pork Ragu used house-made pasta and were fabulous. We topped off the meal with a wonderful Apple Crisp with ice cream in a small cast iron skillet. Even though we brought a bottle of wine, their wine list is very comprehensive and covers amazing wines from all over the world.
Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!!!

It was good but not great. Mainly because the server was in a foul mood. The risotto tasted like cold flavorless soup and was overcooked. It really didn't really have anything special. The ambiance was a little too noisy for our liking. They brought out our main dishes while the appetizers were still on the table.

We heard great thing about this restaurant and decided to try it out for our selves. We sat down and our waitress approached with an attitude right away. No smile. She was short and acted annoyed when we had questions out the menu.

I ordered the market fish and it was raw in the center so they had to send it back to the kitchen. My husband ate his dinner while I waited for my to be recooked. The waitress brought our wine, and was a very small pores. My husband was never offered another glass, but I was after I sent my raw fish back to the kitchen. I thought she offered me another glass of wine on the house since my husband wasn’t asked but we were charged for both the undercooked protein and the second glass of wine.

It’s been my experience has been when the food is a mistake, or undercooked the restaurant tries to make it right by taking off the meal or at least a drink from the bill.

The waitress brought the bill and we felt like she was pushing us to get out, she kept coming back to take the signed receipt from us, but I was still trying enjoy 2nd glass of wine. Finally she stood over us and waited at the table while my husband singed the receipt and handed it to her. It was so rude and unprofessional.

We both left still hungry and went to get something else to eat after we left somewhere else. Our dinner was $120 plus tip and we will never go back. Such a huge disappointment.

You'd expect a restaurant called Jackrabbit to have speedy service. We waited 30+ minutes before our cocktails arrived, and another 20 before for our salad. The food was OK, but not worth the high prices.

The only downside was that they had a hard time seating our party of 6 without cramming us into a booth suited for 5.

The food was very good in most cases, especially the duck leg, and appetizers. I’d definitely go back.

Delicious entrees — the king salmon and risotto were exquisite: well-seasoned, fresh, and of good texture. The accompaniments were ok, as the mixed vegetables - a medley of root vegetables - had too much sage butter, while the mixed greens (chard and kale) were a solid, if not spectacular, choice.

We were seated right away as there were only a few tables being served, but sat at a high top near the bar area even though there were regular tables available during our entire dinner. I ordered a beer that kicked, but was brought out the kicked beer (which makes it smell and taste very yeasty) and then subsequently a small water glass of beer from the new tapped keg. We ordered the oyster and charcuterie plate. The oysters weren’t shucked very well, but the charcuterie board was great. Our main dishes were either under seasoned or straight-up lukewarm. Paying $24 for a small bowl of lukewarm pasta was not worth the money. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and we won’t be going back.

Went for Christmas dinner where a special menu was in place as well as their regular menu. Appetizers were amazing. Sadly, no one wanted to "share" any of the shared entrees, but that did allow us to sample a number of the different offerings. The porchetta was tasty, as was the bacon pork chop. We also sampled two of the pastas as well as the chicken & polenta dish. Everything was delicious. I would have liked a bit more spicing in the pumpkin risotta, but it was nice all the same. Our server was delightful, attentive and fun. All in all, a wonderful way to end our Christmas Day celebration!

Christmas Day,
We saw the Christmas Day menu and thought we would give it a try. When we got there we got the brunch menu. The food wasn’t bad but we were expecting standing rib roast, not a hamburger. When we got home we checked the website to see if there was a start time for dinner that we missed. No, no time listed. Hopefully they fix that for any future special menus.

Christmas morning family brunch. Perfect location for family brunch on Christmas morning for our Portland family. No one had to cook and the staff graciously accommodated my request for a private dining area for several in our group with extra sensitivity to noise and surrounding activity. I think our group of 9 tried a variety of menu items - each prepared and served beautifully. Thank you again for being part of our family holiday celebration.

Excellent food and service. The duck confit with waffles and duck egg was simply unique and delicious. The grilled cheese with duck egg was also pleasant surprise. The loco moco was also good but not quite as good as the other two. Service was friendly and attentive. Very appealing interior. Liked it so much went back twice.

The food was average, it was expensive and the service was slow. I had the chicken and it was good, but we also had the Bacon Chop and it was 90% fat. The appetizer we had was called the "Three Little Pigs" and it was definitely "little" in portion size. The appetizer took awhile to get to us and when finished sat on our table quite a while and our actual dinner took forever to get to us. The waiter was nice, but the service was incredibly slow for not a lot of people. After the appetizer, two entrees a Coke and an Ice Tea it came to $94 dollars so after a tip it was over $100. Visually it's a nice restaurant with a great location, but I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

From the appetizers through the entrees, everything was ridiculously good. The bartender was able to make an excellent mocktail for my husband and the waitress suggested a lovely wine for my father.

The pacing was slow but it was nice to kind of sit and savor an exceptional and original meal.

The only thing that fell flat to me was the desserts. We tried three, a baked pear, a flourless chocolate cake and a bay leaf panacotta. The baked pear was fine and the bayleaf won points for originality of flavor. The flourless chocolate cake had a TON of coffee (ground espresso bean maybe) and had a great texture but was quite bitter (my coffee-obsessed husband did enjoy it though).

EAT HERE! Holy crap the mains and appetizers were so good I do not even care. We will DEFINITELY return. Just not for dessert.
