Tasty cocktails. Food was decent not mind blowing. Server was friendly the runners were kinda of curt. Forgot it was a Nationals game night, might have been quieter on a different night.

We loved our dining experience!! We sat outside on a Saturday afternoon before the baseball game. The outside area is filled with greenery, flowers, perfectly shaded and protected from the elements yet still comfortably outside. We are beer snobs and their bet selection was top notch with delicious belgian options, true sours (not kettles), great local choices and all reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our food as well, we had the chicken sandwich with fresh hot fries and the Texas avocado toast. The toast was a dark pumpernickel with a creamy avo spread and fresh slices of avocado on top.. it was lovely. It was served with a perfectly dressed salad that had just the right amount of sliced red onion and tomatoes. And Bastion, our server, was fantastic! It's practically impossible to find good service and an experience anymore at restaurants but that was not the case here! Bastion was attentive, engaged and provided helpful recommendations... he really enhanced our great time We will absolutely be back and already telling all our friends about this place!

This is my go to spot when I bring family and friends in town. Alwyas a good vibe, never truly crowded and food is great. Love the bottle options, so which it was cheaper but overall great spot.

Our server Lilly was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. The service of the food was a little slow due to the Pink concert and the amount of people in the restaurant. Lilly and the staff did an excellent job making our dinner a great experience.

We went before the Pink concert and loved the Pink theme drinks and menu. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and it was not good. The pumpernickel bread was soggy and not much flavor with the avocado wasabi mousse or horseradish aioli. The only spice was from the jalapeno and you didn't get one in every bite. We did not eat the bread. For us, it did not go together with the tuna. The steak was cooked medium per our request and it was good but I don't think we would order the steak again. Needed a bit more seasoning for us. The service was good. Our waitresses were very attentive and food came out in a timely manor. I ordered a glass of wine and the pour was small. I was hoping for a bit more for 15.00. We loved the ambiance and we would go back but order other items from their menu.

Food was great. Mussels were some of the best we have had anywhere. Steak frites - same thing. Perfectly seasoned and nice cut of beef. Great drinks and appetizers. We've already started spreading the word. It was that good.

Service and food both left a lot to be desired. Our waiter was both rushing us and doing that upsell thing where they "recommend one of their favorites" in each category that just happens to be the most expensive possible option. In short, this is a tourist trap. We got charged $16 for water, and my double shot of bourbon cost more than my entree. Don't come here if you have anywhere better to go.

this is definitely the worst dining experience I've had since moving to DC. the experience was unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. It took 35 minutes for someone to take our order. Our water didn't get refilled the whole night. Between 4 people, we had the grilled corn salad, summer salad, tuna tartine, caesar salad, and chicken ragu -- every dish was mediocre (at best) and tragically overpriced. Our waiter brought our bottle of wine after our food was served, placed it in an ice bucket next to our table, and left without saying anything. Several minutes later, someone brought us wine glasses to the table. The waiter came back and poured a glass of wine for each of us, and instead of putting the bottle back in the ice bucket, said "who wants more?" and proceeded to empty the bottle into my friends cup, leaving us all with uneven glasses filled with way too much wine (completely defeated the purpose of the ice bucket). Nobody asked us if we wanted dessert and it took another 10 min to get the check at all. For a $50+ meal per person, the food/wine was mediocre at best, extremely overpriced, and the service was abysmal. It was a very upsetting experience all around.

The food was excellent! My waiter, Young, was most pleasant and provided an in-depth description of the menu items to make my choice’s easy! PS Had a paper printout of my Groupon, although they preferred digital, was able and willing to accommodate me. Will go again!

Great experience. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. The hostess was EXCELLENT! Food was delicious and so were the drinks. Waiter was phenomenal. If and when you go ask for Joe. I had the shrimp and grits....excellent presentation and delicious. My next visit I will get the chicken and waffles because they looked AMAZING! Great place for brunch!!!! Check them out!

Our server was great and out of the 5 entrees ordered, only one was really good. For the price, it wasn't worth the value re: food. Also, it was hard to hear each other over the other people in the area. But it was okay.

I had family in town and booked a table outside. We enjoyed everything. The ambiance, service, and food. Portions were generous and at a perfect temp, drinks were tasty, our server was personable and attentive. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy each other.

I can't say enough great things about this venue! From the managers, hosts and wait staff down to the tableware and place settings--everyone was extremely accommodating, friendly and a pure joy to work with. I hosted a baby sprinkle for my best friend and ten guests and the feedback was nothing short of amazing! The ambiance was darling, the food was beautifully plated and delicious all around, and the bottles of champs were refreshing and steady flowing. Zach did an outstanding job tending to our table--always nearby and anticipating our needs-which there were very few! He was on it! Our guests had everything from the shrimp and grits, to chicken and waffles, salmon toast and croque madame...not a morsel was left on our plates. And beautifully curated mocktails for the Mom-to-be! I truly can't wait to go back for brunch and dinner. JAB is now my go-to spot for fab, fine, fun dining in the DMV! Thank you to event coordinator Rena and manager Elia for meeting with me before the event to ensure they could accommodate our party. Little did I know that we would be welcomed with open arms and offered numerous options to boot! This was truly an exceptional experience with an impeccable venue, food, drinks and service to share with friends and loved ones.
