Jack Fry's is a fun place with great food!!! Excellent service and friendly staff.
Great food, great service, definitely would eat there again.
You cannot beat this place!!!
Lamb chops to be $52 was really small
Simply the best Louisville has to offer. If you visit Louisville and don’t come to Jack Fry’s, you’ve missed out on impeccable service, amazing food and drink, and an atmosphere that’s like none other.
Always a great experience and great food. Jamie is the best server in town!
The food was exceptionally prepared. Service was great
All four meals were delicious! Always a special treat to eat at Jack Fry’s…service and ambience very special, also! Always excellent!
Fantastic food and service!
It was awesome service and food great.
Always amazing. It was so nice to see our favorite server again post Covid. Food was delicious. We love Jack Fry's!
There were six in our party and our meal was amazing! I would suggest this restaurant again.
Outstanding meal-every time! Never a disappointment.
Great meal and great service, tables were distanced, and will return for future meals.
We had a great time. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Thank you so much for helping my niece have a special birthday dinner.
Always excellent. Lunch is an exceptionally good value. Great food and superb service!
I’m not usually critical but there are several issues about JF deserving comment. It was very difficult to hear across a small two person table. The waitstaff were polite and attentive but did not remove crumbs from the table and did not offer to box up leftovers (they just delivered the boxes to the table). I feel $5 to split a plate is high, and most menu items were very expensive (I.e. over $32 for a pasta dish). On the plus side - the food and drinks were excellent (though over-priced) and the decor is nice.
Great ambiance, food and a wonderful place to meet friends for a meal.
This has been our favorite meal in Louisville. We came with high expectations, and this place did not disappoint!
Amazing pork chop and chicken. Service was second to none. Must visit if in Louisville
A little pricy for what you get. Plates could be dressed up better.
Jack Fry's is a must do. The entire experience was lovely, food, drinks,
service and atmosphere.
Stephanie Meek, the owner of Jack Fry’s, is the quintessential restaurateur! She makes this wonderful restaurant hum. Wonderful. Consistent. Great bar service. Outstanding food.
Great meal, great atmosphere!!
Classic elegance for a special occasion. The food was very good albeit relatively small portions for the price charged. The service was very good. Our waiter even recommended an excellent spot (besides his own bar) to enjoy an expresso martini as we were ready for a change of scenery.
My wife and I visit Louisville about one day each year and most of the time we dine at Jack Fry's. The food is reliably excellent, the service is flawless and the ambiance is inviting. We will keep coming back.
Everything was very good! Nice ambiance and the food was really delicious!
The noise from the traffic on the street was distracting so next time we will request to set away from the window. Food and service was wonderful!
My friends and I noticed good reviews from a few sources for Jack Fry's. The good reviews were not wrong. The pork chop was one of the best I've ever had and we all really enjoyed what we ordered. Small place that is worth checking out while in Louisville. We will return if in the area again.
The restaurant was great as always
The shrimp and grits appetizer was excellent as usual. The entree red snapper was a a little off. I would not recommend it.
It was my wife’s birthday. She had never been there before even though I had once with work. She loved her dinner and the atmosphere.
The food was fantastic! I just moved from Chicago and the filet at Jack's was the best I've ever had!
Jack’s Burger is the best hamburger around! I had a side of spinach with it, cooked and seasoned to perfection as well. Highly recommend Jack Fry’s for the food and historical ambience!
Everything was as expected from a fantastic restaurant.
The bartender who was also my server was on point. It was my first time at Jack Fry’s and I admit I was impressed. The lamb chops was awesome and cooked to my preferred temperature. Good Job to this place.
Such an overall excellent experience! Jack Fry gets everything right. It was a real treat to dine in an old school establishment with a classic menu with just the right amount of modern updates and sustainably sourced, local ingredients. Highly recommend for a night out in Louisville.
The food was ordinary. Service was slow from the kitchen. Over an hour between 2nd and 3rd course. The restaurant was highly appreciated but failed us.
Jack Fry's has been our favorite lunch spot for years. Not another place in the area can match it for the four musts in good dining: ambience, cuisine, service, value.
